HAGL: 'Out of options,' how can they avoid relegation?

HAGL has officially fallen to the bottom of the standings after 6 matches in the LPBank V-League 2025/26. Notably, the difficulties faced by the team owned by Mr. Duc seem to have no solution in sight.

The harsh reality is that HAGL's young players, or those who have just passed the U23 mark, are proving "overwhelmed" by the V-League, as the intensity, pressure, and pragmatism of the relegation battle present an immense challenge. With the most experienced senior players gone, this younger generation lacks support and is struggling to find a way out of their crisis.

Replacing the coach probably won't help HAGL recover with their current squad.

Replacing the coach isn't really the solution either. HAGL's problem doesn't lie on the coaching staff, but in the quality of the players on the field.

With a team where the quality of domestic players is below average, and foreign players are constantly inconsistent and change frequently, changing coaches might only add to the problems.

In short, HAGL's future is extremely uncertain. The team owned by Mr. Duc seems to be in a hopeless situation and unable to determine its own destiny.

The only way forward for HAGL is to try to accumulate every possible point before waiting for rescue, or hoping that their direct rivals in the relegation battle will stumble.
