Two interchanges with the Northern Expressway

On the morning of April 19, the two intersections of Thieu Giang (Thieu Giang commune, Thieu Hoa district) and Dong Thang (Trieu Son district) on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 were officially put into operation. Thus, up to now, on the North - South expressway through Thanh Hoa province, there are 7 intersections, including: Gia Mieu, Ha Linh, Thieu Giang, Dong Xuan , Dong Thang, Van Thien, Nghi Son have been completed and put into use.

Thieu Giang Interchange officially comes into operation.

The Thieu Giang intersection put into use helps people travel to and from Thieu Hoa, Yen Dinh districts and some neighboring districts more conveniently.

Thieu Giang intersection belongs to sub-project 2 (Project connecting National Highway 1A with National Highway 45, invested by Thieu Hoa District People's Committee).

Dong Thang Interchange is an intersection located at the end of the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway.

Dong Thang Interchange is put into operation, helping vehicles to and from localities such as Thanh Hoa City, Trieu Son District, Nong Cong District and some neighboring districts become more convenient.

In order to maximize the effectiveness of investment in expressways, create momentum and promote socio -economic development, Thanh Hoa province has reviewed and arranged investment capital for intersections connecting expressways with the traffic network in the province, connecting urban and rural areas, industrial parks, export processing zones, high-tech zones, tourist areas, new urban areas, seaports, and Tho Xuan airport.

For the convenience of people traveling on the highway, the Thanh Hoa Department of Transport noted that on the North-South expressway in the East, trucks with a total weight (including the vehicle's weight and cargo) greater than 10 tons are not allowed to circulate, and motorcycles, motorbikes, tractors, specialized motorbikes with a speed of less than or equal to 70 km/h, rudimentary vehicles, and pedestrians are prohibited.
