While working on a project to restore coastal rock formations at Ogmore-By-Sea in the Glamorgan Valley (South Wales), members of the non-profit group Beach Academy unexpectedly discovered a series of strange objects. Hundreds of these shoes date back to around the 19th century AD. Photo: @Beach Academy. According to Beach Academy, these shoes are more classic in style than modern in design. They are primarily intended for adult men and children. Photo: @BeachAcademy.
Despite having drifted at sea for hundreds of years, some of the shoes are still in surprisingly good condition. Photo: @Beach Academy. Based on the design, these shoes are believed to date back to the 19th century, which aligns well with the local folklore surrounding a shipwreck in the area. Photo: @Beach Academy.
The most likely theory is that these shoes came from a shipwreck called the Frolic. Photo: @Beach Academy. We invite our readers to watch the video : "Important discovery during archaeological excavation at the Ngườm Rock Shelter site". Video source: @Thai Nguyen Newspaper and Radio & Television.
