The beginning of April marks the start of the new beach tourism season. Over the past week, the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee and relevant tourism agencies have held meetings with communes and wards in the province that have beach tourism areas, to ensure the best possible preparation for the new season.

With famous coastal tourist areas like Sam Son, Hai Tien, and Hai Hoa, as well as emerging tourist destinations on the national tourism map such as Bai Dong, Quang Loi, and Quang Thai, Thanh Hoa 's coastal tourism has attracted a large number of visitors in recent years. This increase has not only been in the number of visitors but also in their length of stay and spending during their holidays.

Along with diversifying services and upgrading tourism infrastructure, coastal tourist areas have chosen suitable themes for the tourist season to attract visitors, such as: "Sam Son - Aspiration to Shine", "Nghi Son - Pearl Sea - Aspiration to Reach Further", "Hai Tien - The Sea Sings a Love Song", thereby conveying a message about the value and stature of coastal tourist areas as well as the aspiration for advancement of the land and people here.

During working sessions between the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee and localities with coastal tourist areas, the issue of creating a more modern and friendly tourism environment to best exploit the potential and opportunities of coastal tourist areas was raised. The Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee requested localities to proactively review planning and management of development space; coordinate to gradually improve essential infrastructure, especially transportation, landscape, environment, lighting, and drainage, ensuring the best conditions for welcoming tourists. In particular, preparations must be made for the opening ceremony of the 2026 coastal tourism season to create a strong attraction for tourists. During peak seasons, effective measures must be taken to address the issue of touting and soliciting, ensuring not only clean beaches but also clean and friendly service.

We have succeeded with beach tourism, and now it's time to elevate the pearl of Thanh Hoa to a new level. Let's sing along with the sea, so that "The sound of waves echoes forever / The sound of the sea echoes forever / The murmuring sound of waves is truly unforgettable," pleasing tourists when they come to Thanh Hoa's coast, just like the beautiful lyrics that musician Duong Thu wrote in the song "The Sound of the Sea Waves."
