That day, after graduating from the Artillery Officer School (Artillery-Missile Command), Duong Dinh Hoanh went to the Dong Trieu City Medical Center (now the Dong Trieu Medical Center, Quang Ninh province), where his sister worked, for a health check-up. During the registration process, the young officer was gently and thoughtfully guided by a female intern there. What particularly impressed Hoanh was her captivating eyes and the lovely smile that was always on her lips, making his heart flutter from the first meeting. Before leaving, Hoanh, using the excuse of wanting further health advice, asked for her phone number to proactively get to know her.

Upon returning home, Hoanh immediately texted Phuong Anh, thanking her for her enthusiastic guidance and concern about his work. Initially, she only replied politely, maintaining a distance. After some time, knowing that he was a soldier and that his sister worked at the place where she was interning, Phuong Anh became more comfortable confiding in him and sharing her thoughts.

After becoming closer, they decided to meet on a weekend at Bai Chay beach ( Quang Ninh province). Under the sunset, the young couple strolled along the soft white sand. Listening to the gentle waves lapping against the shore, they both felt a sense of exhilaration. They felt closer, the awkwardness of their reunion no longer present. As they walked, Hoanh proactively shared more about himself and his work, and he felt that this was the girl he had always been searching for, so he was determined to "keep her at all costs." That evening, with the help of friends, Hoanh prepared a small, romantic party with candles, flowers, heart-shaped balloons, and a beautifully designed cake with the words: "First Date," accompanied by warm and loving words. Sensing Hoanh's sincerity, Phuong Anh shyly nodded, vowing to let her heart be with him from now on.

Later, during their courtship, Phuong Anh and Dinh Hoanh found they were perfectly compatible in every way. Both sets of parents were also very happy that their children truly loved each other. Hoanh's sister was thrilled to have both a future sister-in-law and a colleague. The couple promised to get married in the near future.
