The election of National Assembly deputies for the 16th term and People's Council representatives at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in Bac Ninh province was successfully concluded. 100% of the new Provincial People's Council representatives have a university degree or higher, and over 94% have achieved advanced political theory qualifications. Voters in the Kinh Bac region place great expectations on the responsible actions of those elected, contributing to the realization of the aspiration to make Bac Ninh a breakthrough city and soon become a centrally-governed city.

Many good and creative models.

The election results were significantly contributed by innovative approaches. A prime example is the "Four Early Preparations" model: early issuance of plans; early personnel consolidation; early review of voter lists; and early development of security and logistical plans. Alongside this is the "Professional Election Team" model. This included standardized province-wide training in election skills and procedures; the development of question-and-answer materials on various scenarios; and rehearsals of the process before election day. These models helped equip grassroots election officials with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet their assigned tasks.

Following the consultation rounds, Bac Ninh province has compiled a list of 28 candidates for the National Assembly to elect 16 representatives; 137 candidates for the Provincial People's Council to elect 85 representatives; and 3,692 candidates for the commune-level People's Council to elect 2,234 representatives... At the same time, the province has also implemented a "Dynamic Voter Database": regularly updating population changes; linking data between levels and sectors to reduce errors and duplications in the lists.

The "Two-Level Inspection" model—provincial-level thematic inspections; commune-level self-assessment and evaluation—has been effectively implemented. For example, the Nui Mong village polling station (Dai Dong commune) is a densely populated area with a large number of resident and temporary workers. Therefore, the polling station assigned each member to be responsible for specific residential clusters to thoroughly monitor voter movements. "We determined that we must have a firm grasp of each voter group, especially those working shifts or with special circumstances, to promptly encourage and remind them, ensuring that no one is left out or deprived of their right to vote," emphasized Mr. Le Van Trung, Head of Polling Station No. 26 (Nui Mong village).

In information and communication work, the "Multi-layered Communication" model has been effectively implemented through a combination of communication in publications, various types of media, local radio systems, thematic conferences, neighborhood groups, social media, and visual communication using billboards and slogans. On digital platforms, numerous news articles, video clips, infographics, and online interviews related to the election process have been posted.

With thorough and transparent preparations, March 15th truly became a festival for nearly 2.4 million voters in Bac Ninh province, reaching a turnout of 99.16%. Still feeling proud and excited, Ms. Tang Thi Suu (62 years old), a Tay ethnic woman, was one of the early voters at the Xe Mong village polling station on March 15th. "I believe that, with a sense of responsibility, the elected representatives will contribute to bringing support policies on electricity, roads, irrigation, healthcare, education, etc., to mountainous, highland, and disadvantaged areas, helping to improve the lives of the people and change the face of the locality," voters expressed their confidence.

A crucial foundation for the quality of performance in the new term.

The provincial constituencies have elected all 16/16 National Assembly deputies for the 16th term and 85/85 provincial People's Council deputies for the 20th term. Notably, the quality and structure of the new provincial People's Council deputies have shown a clear improvement, with 100% holding a university degree or higher and over 94% achieving advanced political theory qualifications, with a predominance of Master's and Doctoral degree holders. Furthermore, the diverse composition of deputies, ranging from experienced managers to enthusiastic young individuals, representing various intellectual classes and socio-political organizations, creates a crucial foundation for the quality of the new term's activities.

Among the elected representatives to the Provincial People's Council, voters were delighted and pleased to see the presence of delegates such as: Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Viet Oanh; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son... with the important responsibility of leading Bac Ninh province in the new period.
