Increase engagement with workers.
According to Dao Minh Tan, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai City Federation of Labor: Dong Nai has an abundant workforce of approximately 2.4 million people working in organizations and businesses. This is an important resource for the socio -economic development of the locality, contributing to achieving double-digit economic growth targets. In this context, innovating the emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers is an urgent requirement to improve labor productivity, product quality, and production and business efficiency.

Arising from this need, trade union organizations at all levels have implemented the digital trade union model – connecting quickly, providing timely support, and gradually applying information technology in propaganda, membership management, and organizing trade union activities. This is considered a practical solution to improve the quality of service to union members, strengthen the bond between the trade union organization and workers; and at the same time meet the requirements of administrative reform and digital transformation in the new situation.
Local trade unions establish information groups on digital platforms, directly connecting trade union officials with union members and workers. Through these groups, information on policies, laws, regulations related to workers, welfare programs, and care activities is disseminated quickly and promptly. At the same time, union members can express their thoughts, aspirations, suggestions, or any issues arising in labor relations, allowing the trade union to understand and address them at the grassroots level.
For example, the Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Vien commune) has proactively established information groups on popular digital platforms such as Zalo and Facebook, directly connecting trade union officials with union members and workers. These online groups not only serve as a regular information exchange channel but also act as a "digital bridge," bridging the gap between the trade union organization and its members, facilitating the rapid, accurate, and convenient transmission of information.
Mr. Le Nhat Truong, Chairman of the Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd., said: "The digital trade union model creates conditions for trade union officials to proactively monitor the situation of union members, understand the thoughts and aspirations of workers; thereby promptly supporting and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members. The interaction between the trade union and workers is becoming increasingly fast and convenient, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations."
