Fragrant flowers in Uncle Ho's garden

Having worked as an official in Thuy Lieu commune (before the merger) since 2006, rising through the ranks and holding various positions, Ms. Truong Thi Bach Tuyet has always excelled in her assigned duties.

In 2015, Ms. Tuyet served as the Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuy Lieu commune, making significant contributions to social welfare work, especially in mobilizing social resources to build rural bridges and construct solidarity houses for the poor.

Understanding the people's desire for a sturdy bridge, she actively mobilized organizations, philanthropists, and people inside and outside the commune to contribute funds for bridge construction. Thanks to her dedication and perseverance, 48 concrete bridges were completed, with a total cost of over 9.6 billion VND.

With over 3.3 billion VND raised through social mobilization, she proposed the construction of 97 solidarity houses for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households. Through this practical action, she made a significant contribution to the local new rural development process.

In 2021, as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Thuy Lieu commune, Ms. Tuyet, along with the leadership team, directed the commune's efforts to achieve the new rural standard. Social welfare continued to receive attention, and the people's lives saw significant improvements.

Entering 2025, when the administrative units are reorganized according to the two-tiered local government model, Ms. Truong Thi Bach Tuyet will hold the position of Chairperson of the Women's Union of Dinh Hoa Commune. In her new role, she continues to uphold the qualities of an official who "puts the interests of the people first," effectively advising on the work of the Fatherland Front and the women's movement.

Thanks to her extensive practical experience and keen leadership skills, Ms. Tuyet continues to spread the spirit of learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh's example, bringing the Party's policies into life in a practical and effective way. The work of mobilizing social resources for the construction of bridges and roads is not always smooth due to limited local matching funds.

She had to be skillful in public relations and persuasion to get organizations and philanthropists to contribute funds. In addition, Ms. Tuyet also mobilized support for those in difficult circumstances to improve their lives.

Through a field survey conducted in Dinh Hoa commune after the merger, Ms. Tuyet compiled a list of 25 dilapidated makeshift bridges and temporary bridges that needed investment for construction. Based on this, she continued to develop a plan to call for and mobilize social resources. From July 1, 2025 to the present, she has successfully mobilized resources to build 8 more rural traffic bridges, with a total cost of 2.4 billion VND.

As we revisited the bridges she had spearheaded, Ms. Tuyet couldn't hide her joy. “Every time a bridge is completed and I see people able to travel more conveniently, I feel so happy. That motivates me to contribute even more to the development of this poor rural area, working alongside the local government to improve the lives of the people. I hope that people's lives will become increasingly prosperous, comfortable, and happy,” Ms. Tuyet shared. Her words resonated with us, reflecting the dedication and sense of responsibility of a Party member and official in serving the people.

With her enthusiasm, sense of responsibility, and achievements in her work, Ms. Truong Thi Bach Tuyet has always been trusted and respected by the people, recognized by the Party committee and local government, and rightfully deserves to be an exemplary role model in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings.
