Tuition fee is at least 25,000 VND/student/month.

According to a resolution of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, tuition fees for all levels of education are divided into three regions. For public educational institutions that are not self-sufficient in covering their operating expenses, the lowest tuition fee is 25,000 VND/student/month; the highest is 195,000 VND/student/month. For educational institutions that are self-sufficient in covering their operating expenses, the fee is doubled.

Tuition fees for the 2024-2025 school year in Thanh Hoa province will be implemented according to Resolution 287/2022/NQ-HĐND (amended by Resolution 21/2024/NQ-HĐND dated May 31, 2024).

Accordingly, the tuition fees for the 2024-2025 school year for public preschools, primary and secondary schools, and continuing education institutions in Thanh Hoa province that are not yet self-sufficient in covering their operating expenses are as follows:

- Rural areas: Communes in cities and towns; communes and towns in lowland districts (excluding mountainous communes and towns as defined in Decision No. 861/QD-TTg dated June 4, 2021 of the Prime Minister , Decision 612/QD-UBDT of 2021, and particularly disadvantaged communes in coastal and island areas as defined in Decision No. 353/QD-TTg of 2022 approving the list of poor households and particularly disadvantaged communes in coastal and island areas for the period 2021-2025) and wards in Nghi Son town.

The tuition fee for the 2024-2025 school year in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Thanh Hoa province at the lower secondary level is 25,000 VND/student/month.

- Ethnic minority and mountainous areas: Communes and towns in mountainous districts and mountainous communes and towns in lowland districts as defined by Decision No. 861/QD-TTg dated June 4, 2021 of the Prime Minister, Decision 612/QD-UBDT, and particularly difficult communes in coastal and island areas as defined by Decision No. 353/QD-TTg.

- Tuition fees for public preschool and general education institutions that are self-sufficient in covering their operating expenses: A maximum of twice the tuition fee for the 2024-2025 school year.

- Tuition fees for public preschool and general education institutions that are self-sufficient in covering both recurrent and investment expenses: A maximum of 2.5 times the tuition fee for the 2024-2025 school year.

- Tuition fees for online learning: 80% of the tuition fees charged by public educational institutions as previously announced.
