To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association and in anticipation of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), on the afternoon of December 20, the Veterans Association of Phu Tho Newspaper - Provincial Radio and Television Station held a meeting to review traditions; and at the same time, evaluate the results of activities in 2024 and implement directions and tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the Veterans Association of Phu Tho Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station focused on innovating the content and form of its activities; mobilizing members to uphold the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers," setting a good example in completing all assigned tasks; contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of information and propaganda work, serving the province's political tasks. In addition, in coordination with the Trade Union and Youth Union of the two units, the association mobilized members to actively support the Gratitude Fund, the Comrades' Shelter Fund, and participate in many social welfare activities aimed at the poor and vulnerable groups in the community...
Two individuals from Phu Tho Newspaper received Certificates of Commendation from the Veterans Association of the Provincial Agencies for their outstanding achievements in the "Exemplary Veteran" emulation movement in 2023.
In 2025, the Veterans Association of Phu Tho Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station is determined to strive for 100% of its members to remain steadfast and firm in their political and ideological beliefs; and to build a clean and strong Veterans Association organization. In addition, they will continue to be exemplary and leading in all activities, serving as role models for younger generations of journalists and reporters to follow, contributing to the increasingly strong development of the Party Committee, agencies, and organizations of the two agencies.

On this occasion, the Veterans Association of the Provincial Radio and Television Station received a Certificate of Commendation from the Phu Tho Provincial Veterans Association for its outstanding achievements in the "Exemplary Veteran" emulation movement during the 2021-2024 period; two individuals from Phu Tho Newspaper received Certificates of Merit from the Veterans Association of the Provincial Agencies for their outstanding achievements in the "Exemplary Veteran" emulation movement in 2023.
