Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association

On March 15, 2024, in Komatsu City (Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan), the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Japan Young Entrepreneurs Association.

According to the memorandum of understanding, within two years of signing, the two parties will cooperate in organizing projects to promote cooperation between Japanese and Vietnamese organizations; build networks with relevant organizations in each country to contribute to promoting business exchanges between Japan and Vietnam, and contribute to the economic development of both countries by promoting cooperation and mutual support between the Japan Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.

In addition, the two sides will cooperate in implementing market development projects, involving member companies of both organizations; deploying projects to promote business expansion into Japan and Vietnam; and facilitating and arranging the best possible reception for delegations from both sides visiting and working in Japan and Vietnam.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, expressed his hope that the cooperative relationship between the Vietnam-Japan Young Entrepreneurs Association in particular, and Japan-ASEAN in general, will open up many opportunities for cooperation and development in the fields of import and export, logistics, agricultural products, information technology, innovation, etc.

Mr. Dang Hong Anh also assessed that Japan is currently one of the leading countries and has achieved many important accomplishments in developing a green economy and a circular economy.

Therefore, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association hopes that, after the Memorandum of Understanding is signed, both sides will focus on promoting cooperation in the field of green economy and circular economy in several areas: Organizing joint seminars and forums to share experiences, knowledge, and update the latest trends in green economy and circular economy; Connecting businesses of the two countries through trade networking activities, trade promotion, and investment promotion to create opportunities for cooperation and development of green economy and circular economy projects; Encouraging businesses of both countries to jointly research, develop, and apply advanced technologies in the field of green economy and circular economy; Supporting businesses of both countries in accessing capital and preferential policies for green economy and circular economy projects.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs delegation participated in activities within the framework of the 43rd National Conference – an annual event organized by the Japan Young Entrepreneurs Association, aiming to promote cooperative relationships and connections between young Japanese entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs from ASEAN member countries in exchanging experiences and promoting trade, for the common development of young Japanese entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs in the ASEAN region.

The Japan Young Entrepreneurs Association (Japan YEG), established in 1983, is a member of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It organizes forums for exchange and cooperation among young entrepreneurs across Japan, promoting the development of its member businesses.
