More than 600 banh chung cakes sent to people in flood-hit areas

During these days, the whole country is following and sharing with the people of Central Vietnam who have suffered heavy losses due to floods. In Quang Ninh, the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and responsibility for the people is spreading more and more widely.

Hiep Hoa Ward Women's Union and volunteer clubs wrapped the cakes with care and attention in every step.

Today, November 22, the Women's Union of Hiep Hoa Ward coordinated with the "Dong Tam Volunteer Women's Club", Song Khoai 9 Women's Association and Quang Yen Volunteer Group to wrap more than 600 banh chung and donate many essential necessities to send to people in the flood-hit areas of the Central region.

Currently, 12 pots of banh chung are being carefully cooked by everyone. It is expected that tonight, the cakes will be scooped, cooled and vacuum-packed to ensure quality during transportation, so that when they reach the people, the cakes will still be delicious and full of the love from Quang Ninh to the Central region.

The volunteer bus carrying necessities to people in flooded areas is scheduled to depart tomorrow morning (November 23). Currently, in the province, many charity organizations, philanthropists and people are also urgently donating to support people in flooded areas. This practical activity demonstrates the spirit of sharing and community orientation, which is a beautiful tradition of the Vietnamese people.
