Today, November 22nd, the Women's Union of Hiep Hoa Ward, in coordination with the "Dong Tam Volunteer Women's Club," the Song Khoai 9 Women's Branch, and the Quang Yen Volunteer Group, organized the wrapping of over 600 banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) and collected many essential necessities to send to flood victims in Central Vietnam.
Currently, 12 pots of banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) are being carefully cooked by everyone. It is expected that tonight, the cakes will be taken out of the pot, cooled, and vacuum-sealed to ensure quality during transportation, so that when they reach our compatriots, they will still be fragrant, delicious, and carry the full meaning of Quang Ninh 's love and support to our beloved Central Vietnam.
A volunteer convoy carrying essential supplies to flood-affected residents is scheduled to depart tomorrow morning (November 23rd). Currently, many charitable organizations, philanthropists, and individuals throughout the province are urgently donating to support flood victims. This practical activity demonstrates the spirit of sharing and community support, a beautiful tradition of the Vietnamese people.
