VFF Vice President Nguyen Xuan Vu said that the goal set for Mr. Troussier here is to qualify for the second qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup. In case the task is not completed, VFF will have a solution. .
"VFF's goal is to achieve success in the World Cup qualifiers, specifically success in two matches next March with Indonesia. In case of failure, VFF will sit and work with Mr. Troussier. There is no provision in the contract to immediately fire the French coach“, Mr. Vu shared.

Therefore, VFF will provide maximum support to the head coach for the best preparation.
"The Vietnamese team is not the private property of VFF or Coach Troussier, but the property of the country. We will work with the clubs to help the team have the best force, before entering the World Cup qualifying matches next March.“, said VFF Vice President.

VFF will discuss with Mr. Troussier about his perspective with the media.
