Opening Ceremony of the HDBank Student Futsal Tournament 2023

Earlier, on the afternoon of May 30th at the Dak Lak Sports Arena in Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak province), the organizing committee solemnly held the opening ceremony of the HDBank Student Futsal Tournament for the Central Highlands region 2023.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Thanh Sang, Head of the Organizing Committee, said: "This year's student futsal tournament has many differences in terms of organization and communication. The Organizing Committee hopes that through this tournament, we will contribute to spreading the futsal movement to students, thereby developing the futsal movement nationwide."

Following the opening ceremony, the HDBank Student Futsal Tournament in the Central Highlands region in 2023 witnessed a "goal-scoring frenzy" in the first two matches.

The players competed on the opening day of the tournament.

Accordingly,the FPT Polytechnic Tay Nguyen team made an impressive debut with a resounding 7-0 victory against Tay Nguyen Polytechnic College. However, in the match later that afternoon on May 30th, Tay Nguyen Polytechnic College also secured 3 points after defeating Hanoi Law University (Dak Lak branch) with a score of 3-1.

The HDBank Student Futsal Tournament for the Central Highlands region in 2023 will take place from May 30th to June 11th. Nine teams will participate, representing the following schools: Da Lat University, Tay Nguyen University, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Tay Nguyen Polytechnic College, FPT Polytechnic Tay Nguyen College, Dak Lak Technical College, Dak Lak Medical College, Hanoi Law University (Dak Lak branch), and Kon Tum Community College.

The matches were lively and exciting.

The teams will be divided into two groups (Group A: 5 teams, Group B: 4 teams), playing a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals and final.

Regarding the prize structure, the 2023 HDBank Student Futsal Tournament in the Central Highlands will include: a trophy, gold medals, a flag, and a prize of 20 million VND for the champion; 10 million VND for the runner-up; 5 million VND for the third-place team, along with other awards such as: Fair Play award, Best Player of the Tournament, Top Scorer…
