The Tan Duong Industrial Cluster (Dinh Hoa) project commenced in early 2023 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. To ensure progress according to plan, along with completing the construction of technical infrastructure, the project's investor is continuing to finalize legal procedures to proceed with the construction of a garment factory there.

The construction unit is carrying out site leveling at the Tan Duong Industrial Cluster (Dinh Hoa).

The investment in the construction of technical infrastructure for the Tan Duong Industrial Cluster is the first industrial development project in Dinh Hoa district, approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 4022 dated December 16, 2021, with an area of 13 hectares, a total investment of over 139 billion VND, and an implementation period from 2021 to 2024. Upon completion, the project will help Dinh Hoa district enhance its ability to attract investment.

The Tan Duong Industrial Cluster is planned to be located next to the Ho Chi Minh Highway, easily connecting to the Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi route (after the completion of phase 2 of the Ho Chi Minh Highway, it will connect to Tuyen Quang province), creating jobs for many local workers.

After the project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee, in early 2023, the main investor officially commenced the construction of the technical infrastructure of Tan Duong Industrial Cluster, including: land leveling, construction of internal transportation infrastructure; electricity system; waste collection and treatment; wastewater and solid waste collection and treatment…

Mr. Ngo Manh Cuong, Deputy Director of Project Development at Thagaco International Investment Joint Stock Company (the investor in the construction of the Tan Duong Industrial Cluster's technical infrastructure), said: "During the implementation of the Tan Duong Industrial Cluster's technical infrastructure construction project, we encountered some difficulties, so we had to temporarily halt construction for a short period. Afterward, the investor actively coordinated with relevant provincial and district authorities to gradually resolve the obstacles related to the construction of the garment factory. From November 2023 to the present, we have continued to accelerate construction activities."

After nearly a year of implementation, the land clearance work for the Tan Duong Industrial Cluster has been completed, with leveling and compaction reaching 100% of the plan. The contractor is also constructing other items such as embankments, electricity systems, roads, and wastewater and waste collection and treatment systems. Simultaneously, efforts are being made to expedite the construction of the garment factory in the cluster, aiming for it to be operational by the end of 2024. Currently, the progress is basically on schedule.

After completing the technical infrastructure of Tan Duong Industrial Cluster, Thagaco International Investment Joint Stock Company will proceed with the construction of a garment factory with a capacity of 2.2 million products per year, creating jobs for approximately 4,000 workers.

Ms. Tran Thi Tam, residing in Tan Tien 3 hamlet, Tan Duong commune, said: "Currently, I work at the Diem Thuy Industrial Park, so I only get to visit my children once a week. When the Tan Duong Industrial Cluster is completed and the Thagaco Dinh Hoa garment factory starts operating, I will apply to work there so I can have more time to take care of my family." Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Vice Chairman of the Tan Duong Commune People's Committee, assessed: "During the construction of the Tan Duong Industrial Cluster by Thagaco International Investment Joint Stock Company, the local government and people were very enthusiastic and highly supportive. When the project becomes operational, many local people will have jobs and increased income. In addition, it will create momentum for the development of service and trade sectors, and shift the local economic structure…"

Speaking with us, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dinh Hoa District, emphasized: The Tan Duong Industrial Cluster, once invested in and operational, will help the district create jobs for thousands of workers. Furthermore, it will promote the processing industry for agricultural and forestry products, effectively exploit the timber resources from planted forests, and make a significant contribution to the local socio-economic development. During the project implementation, the district actively coordinated with the investor to gradually resolve obstacles and difficulties.
