Tan Duong Industrial Cluster (Dinh Hoa) was deployed from the beginning of 2023 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Investment in the construction of technical infrastructure of Tan Duong Industrial Park is the first industrial development project in Dinh Hoa district, approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 4022 dated December 16, 2021, with an area of 13 hectares, a total investment of over 139 billion VND, and implementation period from 2021 to 2024. When the project is completed, it will help Dinh Hoa district increase investment attraction.
Tan Duong Industrial Park is planned to be located next to Ho Chi Minh road, easily connected to Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi road (after Ho Chi Minh road phase 2 is completed, it will connect to Tuyen Quang province), creating jobs for many local workers.
After the Provincial People's Committee approved the Project, in early 2023, the investor officially started the construction of Tan Duong Industrial Park's technical infrastructure, with the following items: Leveling the ground, building internal traffic infrastructure; electricity system; waste collection and treatment; collection and treatment of wastewater, garbage, etc.
Mr. Ngo Manh Cuong, Deputy Director of Project Development of Thagaco International Investment Joint Stock Company (the investor in the construction of Tan Duong Industrial Park's technical infrastructure), said: During the implementation of the Tan Duong Industrial Park's technical infrastructure construction project, we encountered some difficulties, so we had to temporarily suspend construction for a short time. After that, the investor actively coordinated with the functional agencies of the province and district to gradually remove the difficulties related to the investment in the construction of the garment factory. From November 2023 to now, we continue to promote construction activities.
After nearly 1 year of implementation, the site clearance work of Tan Duong Industrial Park has been completed, the leveling and compaction work has reached 100% of the plan. The contractor is also implementing the construction of other items, such as embankments, electrical systems, roads, wastewater and waste collection and treatment systems. At the same time, efforts are being made to soon build a garment factory at this industrial park and strive to put it into operation by the end of 2024. Currently, the progress basically meets the requirements.
After completing the technical infrastructure of Tan Duong Industrial Park, Thagaco International Investment Joint Stock Company will build a garment factory with a capacity of 2.2 million products/year, creating jobs for about 4,000 workers.
Ms. Tran Thi Tam, living in Tan Tien 3 hamlet, Tan Duong commune, said: Currently, I am working in Diem Thuy Industrial Park, so I can only visit my children once a week. When Tan Duong Industrial Park is completed and Thagaco Dinh Hoa Garment Factory is put into operation, I will apply to work here to have more time to take care of my family. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Vice Chairman of Tan Duong Commune People's Committee, commented: During the process of Thagaco International Investment Joint Stock Company implementing the construction of Tan Duong Industrial Park, the local government and people were very excited, so they agreed and highly supported. When the project came into operation, many local people were able to find jobs and increase their income. In addition, it also created momentum for the development of service and trade sectors, shifting the local economic structure, etc.
