
Recognizing that improving hospital quality is a crucial task in attracting patients for examination and treatment, the unit annually develops a plan to implement quality management of medical examination and treatment services according to the set of criteria for evaluating hospital quality; applies these criteria to daily work; and sets quality goals and continuously improves quality.
The staff and employees of the center continuously improve their awareness and sense of responsibility, proactively learn and cultivate knowledge, hone their skills, and constantly enhance their professional competence; they actively perform their assigned tasks well, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare for the people, aiming towards a modern, efficient healthcare system and serving the people even better.
In addition, the center focuses on innovating the style and attitude of healthcare staff in a friendly and positive direction. Every year, healthcare staff receive training and practice in communication and interpersonal skills, improving their spirit and attitude towards service, contributing to building a positive image of healthcare professionals for patient satisfaction.
Ms. Trieu Thi Dau from Tan Thanh commune shared: "I suffered a stroke and had to be hospitalized. After a week of treatment at the Huu Lung Regional Health Center, my condition has stabilized and my health is good. The doctors here are very attentive and caring towards patients. The wards are very neat and clean, and the grounds are clean and beautiful, so I feel comfortable and reassured during my treatment."
Thanks to the collective efforts of the staff and medical personnel of the Huu Lung Regional Health Center, in 2025, the unit achieved and exceeded all professional targets. Specifically, the total number of outpatient visits at the center was 83,973, reaching 120.13% of the plan; inpatient treatment for 16,509 patients reached 100.05% of the plan. The bed occupancy rate reached 95.44%; outpatient treatment for 18,007 patients reached 354.47% of the plan.
Regarding preventive healthcare, by 2025, the area under the unit's responsibility will be free from dangerous infectious diseases and food poisoning incidents. Targeted health and population programs will be actively implemented, with all indicators meeting or exceeding the assigned plan. The number of children receiving all eight types of vaccines annually will exceed 95%.
The guidance and implementation of Project 1816 have been carried out effectively, with the rate of technical services according to the assigned level reaching 90%; the rate of performing technical services beyond the assigned level reaching 15.8%; and the rate of performing technical services according to the assigned level at commune health stations reaching 96%. In 2025, the unit implemented two new technical services: laryngeal drug infusion technique and laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery in children.
In particular, the unit has effectively implemented digital transformation and the application of information technology in its professional activities. The center successfully launched the electronic medical record system on August 19, 2025, exceeding the schedule set by the Department of Health. The cashless payment rate reached 77.48%, an increase of 16.4% compared to 2024; the rate of medical examinations and treatments using citizen identification cards at the center and commune health stations exceeded 90%; 100% of patients with health insurance cards who visited the center and commune health stations for examinations and treatments had their data uploaded to the health insurance portal; and all medical facilities maintained the practice of electronic prescription writing.
The center proactively monitors epidemiology to detect early infection risks and promptly address them to prevent outbreaks, proactively stockpiles medicines and chemicals for disease prevention and control, and helps to contain and repel newly emerging epidemics, reducing the incidence of infectious diseases that cause epidemics.
