The Core Ultra 200V chip, developed on the x86 architecture, is Intel's most power-efficient chip line, specifically designed for PC AI and compatible with most major programming languages on the market. According to Intel representatives, this is the most historically significant and efficient processor Intel has ever created.

During the chip presentation, Intel representatives repeatedly mentioned the term AI: the Core Ultra series will set a new industry standard for mobile AI, dispelling misconceptions about the power efficiency of the x86 architecture. Intel will bring users a perfect AI PC experience.
The new chip boasts 120 TOP computing power from its CPU, GPU, and NPU, while consuming 50% less power than its predecessor. The new processor can run AI applications continuously while remaining energy-efficient thanks to its NPU, which is four times more powerful than the older chip. The platforms also support over 300 AI-powered acceleration features.
At the event, Intel also compared the performance of its new chip with its competitors. When used on the same Dell XPS 13 laptop, with the same chassis, screen size, and battery life, the Core Ultra could stream Netflix for 26 hours continuously at 1080p resolution and 150 nits brightness, 44% longer than the 18 hours achieved with the Snapdragon chip.
In terms of gaming, Intel claims its new chip surpasses AMD and beats Qualcomm. Regarding AI, the new chip delivers faster performance than Qualcomm when using features in Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, and many other applications.
The first AI laptops using Core Ultra chips will launch at the end of September. Intel says the Core Ultra 200V will be featured in 95 flagship AI laptop models from Acer, ASUS, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, LC, MSI, and Samsung.
