iPhone 17 Pro Max price drops for the first time.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Two months after the iPhone 17 Pro Max went on sale in the Vietnamese market, the supply of the device has gradually stabilized and the shortage is no longer as severe as before.

Some retailers have even started adjusting the price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max downwards to increase competitiveness and boost sales.

Specifically, the 256GB version of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is being offered at 37.8 million VND, a reduction of 200,000 VND compared to the listed price. Meanwhile, the 2TB version has been reduced by 1 million VND, down to 63 million VND.

Speaking with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, this price reduction was implemented independently by the retailers. Therefore, the price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max at different retailers will vary depending on the promotional program.

"To date, the iPhone 17 Pro Max version accounts for approximately 75% of sales across the entire new generation of iPhones. At this time, the supply is stable and readily available, allowing customers to receive their devices immediately without waiting," shared Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Director of the Apple product line at Di Dong Viet.

This also marks the first time the iPhone 17 Pro Max has seen a price reduction since its launch in the Vietnamese market. However, only the Desert Orange version has had its price adjusted, while the white and green versions remain unchanged.

The reason is believed to be a change in the purchasing trends of Vietnamese users for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Initially, the desert orange version was popular due to its novelty, leading to insufficient supply and causing shortages.

To date, the white iPhone 17 Pro Max is being purchased more frequently. In fact, the price of this color version has even been inflated by several million dong in the "black market" due to supply shortages.

"The white iPhone 17 Pro Max with 256GB storage is currently very popular. This version is being gradually allocated to pre-ordered customers and is not yet available for immediate purchase. We are still working with Apple and our distribution partners to import more stock," a representative from Minh Tuan Mobile stated.

This is the first year Apple has launched iPhones early in the Vietnamese market. According to statistics, sales have been strong right from the start of the season thanks to the trend of users upgrading their devices early.
