iPhone 17 Pro Max price reduction for the first time

(Dan Tri) - Two months after the iPhone 17 Pro Max hit the shelves in the Vietnamese market, the supply of the device has gradually become stable and is no longer as scarce as before.

Some dealers have even started to adjust the price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max to increase competitiveness and boost sales.

Specifically, the 256GB version of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is being offered for sale at VND37.8 million, a VND200,000 reduction from the listed price. Meanwhile, the 2TB memory version is reduced by VND1 million, down to VND63 million.

Talking to Dan Tri reporter , this price reduction move is implemented by the dealers themselves. Therefore, the price of iPhone 17 Pro Max at the systems will have differences depending on the incentive program.

"Up to now, the iPhone 17 Pro Max version accounts for about 75% of sales in the entire new generation iPhone line. At this time, the supply has stabilized and is available so customers can receive the device immediately without having to wait," said Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple Product Manager at Mobile World.

This is also the first time the iPhone 17 Pro Max has been discounted since its launch in the Vietnamese market. However, only the desert orange version has had its price adjusted, while the white and blue versions remain unchanged.

The reason is said to be due to the change in the shopping trend of iPhone 17 Pro Max among Vietnamese users. At first, the desert orange version was popular because of its novelty, causing the supply to be insufficient and causing a shortage.

So far, the white iPhone 17 Pro Max has been chosen more. The price of the colored version has even been pushed up by several million VND in the "black market" due to lack of supply.

"The white iPhone 17 Pro Max with 256GB capacity is currently very popular. This version is being gradually distributed to registered customers and is not yet available for immediate purchase. We are still working with Apple and distribution partners to import more products," said a representative of Minh Tuan Mobile.

This is the first year Apple has launched iPhone sales early in the Vietnamese market. According to statistics, product sales have had a good rebound from the beginning of the season thanks to the trend of users upgrading early.
