Mourinho has complained about the virus raging in the squad ahead of their Champions League trip to Chelsea in midweek.
Portuguese news agency A Bola confirmed that after the defeat at Stamford Bridge, a number of players and coaching staff, including Jose Mourinho himself, were infected with the virus.

Most of the infected people have been suffering from "constant headaches" and "body aches", which could cause them to miss tomorrow's clash with Porto (October 5).
The match will see manager Mourinho return to Porto after more than 20 years since he made his name at the club by winning the Champions League.
Porto are leading the Portuguese league, while Benfica are struggling in third place, just behind defending champions Sporting Lisbon.
After being sacked by Fenerbahce, Jose Mourinho took over the hot seat at the Jose Alvalade stadium last month.
After 4 matches under the "special one", Benfica won 2, drew 1 match before losing to Chelsea in the Champions League last midweek.
Many Blues fans sang the song and slogan to pay tribute to Mourinho - who won the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup while leading Chelsea.
