Mourinho complained about the viral outbreak plaguing the team ahead of their Champions League away match against Chelsea earlier this week.
Portuguese news agency A Bola confirmed that, following the defeat at Stamford Bridge, several players and coaching staff, including Jose Mourinho himself, have been infected with the virus.

Most of those infected are experiencing "persistent headaches" and "body aches." This could cause them to miss the match against Porto tomorrow (October 5th).
The match will mark the return of coach Mourinho to Porto after more than 20 years, since the day he made a name for himself at the club by winning the Champions League.
Porto are leading the Portuguese league, while Benfica are struggling in third place, just behind defending champions Sporting Lisbon.
After being sacked by Fenerbahce, Jose Mourinho took over the hot seat at the Jose Alvalade stadium last month.
Under the "Special One," Benfica won two and drew one of their four matches before suffering a defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League earlier this week.
Numerous Chelsea fans sang songs and chants to pay tribute to Mourinho, who won the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup during his time managing Chelsea.
