Kbang: Promoting community tourism in Mo Hra Dap village

(GLO)-In 2 days (December 21 and 22), the Kbang District Construction Investment Project Management Board (Gia Lai Province) coordinated with Kong Long Khong Commune to organize a promotion program to introduce the OCOP product development model for community tourism in Mo Hra Dap village.

The program is part of a series of promotional activities to introduce the Mo Hr Dap cultural and community tourism village of Kbang district in 2024.

Accordingly, the program took place with the following activities: Opening of the fair to display and introduce OCOP products, local agricultural products for visitors and shoppers; announcement of tourism products, tours, and routes; gong performances. Throughout the program, there were also activities to experience the traditional crafts of weaving, brocade weaving, and cuisine of the Bahnar people.

Within the framework of the program, the fair attracted 21 booths from communes, towns, and a number of business households in the district. The booths introduced and sold many agricultural products such as green vegetables, guava, oranges, golden milk fruit; some traditional products such as dresses, shirts, brocade scarves, baskets and OCOP products including: macadamia, coffee, wild honey, ginseng wine, rice wine, Java lemongrass essential oil...

At the program, the Organizing Committee announced a website introducing the Mo Hr-Dap cultural and community tourism village and Kbang district at: www.dulichkbang.vn.

On the evening of December 21, along with the gong performance around the sacred rose, the Organizing Committee set off fireworks, attracting a large number of people to come and enjoy.

Through the program, we aim to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the community, contributing to preserving and promoting good traditional cultural values; at the same time, promoting the image, people, customs and unique cultural features of the indigenous people to develop effective and sustainable community tourism in Mo Hr Dap village in the coming time.
