On the morning of October 28th, a team of doctors and nurses from Le Van Thinh Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) collaborated with agencies and units in Son Tay District ( Quang Ngai Province) to provide free medical examinations and medicine to over 500 Ca Dong ethnic minority people in Son Bua and Son Lien communes.
Here, the team conducted health checkups for the local people, including electrocardiograms, ultrasounds, blood sugar measurements, and general examinations. After the checkups, all residents received free consultations and medication.
Free medicine is distributed to people after they have been examined by doctors.
This initiative aims to help the poor and disadvantaged access modern medical services. It also helps identify individuals with serious illnesses so that doctors can advise and encourage them to seek treatment at higher-level facilities.

On this occasion, the delegation also awarded 30 scholarships to underprivileged students who have strived to excel in their studies, each worth 1 million VND.
At the same time, the delegation also donated 500 gift packages to poor people in Son Bua and Son Lien communes, each worth 500,000 VND. The total cost of this charitable trip was over 700 million VND.
