Stimulating intra-provincial tourism
In response to the policy of stimulating domestic tourism in 2026 and strengthening tourism development linkages, the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center has launched the 2026 Domestic Tourism Stimulus Program with the theme "Lam Dong People Travel in Lam Dong - Discover the Homeland, Connect with Love".
The program is identified as one of the key solutions to boost the domestic tourism market within the province and effectively exploit the existing tourism potential. At the same time, it creates opportunities for people in the province to directly experience unique tourism products and discover the cultural, natural, and human values of different regions within the province.
Unlike campaigns targeting tourists from outside the province, this program focuses on the people of Lam Dong themselves – the "local tourists" with immense potential that has not been adequately exploited. This is both a way to stimulate domestic tourism and gradually cultivate a habit of exploring and experiencing tourist areas within the province among local people.
Mr. Nguyen Linh Vu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, said that the program will be implemented from June to the end of 2026. The program aims not only to increase the number of tourists but also to create a stable and sustainable source of domestic tourists for tourism businesses, contributing to achieving the goal of welcoming and serving over 25 million tourists throughout the province by 2026.
According to Mr. Vu, the program also contributes to connecting communities, helping people better understand the history, culture, natural landscapes, and unique values of each region. Through each trip, people develop a greater love for their homeland, raising their awareness of preserving resources, the environment, and local cultural identity.
To ensure the program's effectiveness, the center calls upon the Provincial Tourism Association, along with travel agencies, accommodation establishments, restaurants, amusement parks, tourist attractions, and service providers, to cooperate and support it.

Linking the three regions creates new momentum.
One of the program's notable highlights is its focus on strengthening connections between the province's three key areas: the Southeast, the central, and the West. This linkage not only expands tourism opportunities but also creates diverse inter-regional tours and routes, giving people more choices for experiences.
In particular, connecting the values of the UNESCO Dak Nong Global Geopark with the province's indigenous cultural space will contribute to creating unique tourism products and building a distinctive destination brand.
In addition, businesses are encouraged to implement various incentive programs such as: "Golden Month of Intra-Provincial Tourism," "A Trip to the Homeland for Every Family," and discount packages for officials, civil servants, employees, students, and pupils. This will create conditions for people to easily access tourism services and promote intra-provincial tourism.
Besides the incentives, service quality is prioritized. Businesses are committed to publicly listing prices, selling at the correct price, avoiding unreasonable price increases, and building a friendly, safe, and civilized tourism environment. The program also spreads the message that every citizen is a "tourism ambassador," working together to promote and contribute to the development of tourism in their homeland.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of the Lam Dong Tourism Association, said that through experiencing, sharing, and introducing destinations, each citizen will contribute to spreading the image of Lam Dong as a friendly, attractive, and culturally rich province.
With the support of the Tourism Association and the business community, the program "Lam Dong People Travel in Lam Dong - Discovering the Homeland, Connecting with Love" is expected to become a regular activity, contributing to stimulating tourism demand, strengthening linkages between localities, and building a new image of Lam Dong as an attractive destination based on its own local strengths.
