Discover the beauty of the land of brocade

On the journey of discovery along the homeland, each road, mountain, river, temple, song, costume, cuisine... tells us a unique and fascinating story. With concise, authentic information, evocative and emotional drawings, authors Vo Thi Mai Chi and Ho Quoc Cuong have published the book "The Land of Brocade and Flowers - Atlas of Vietnam" (Kim Dong Publishing House, 2022) with the desire to help readers have a specific and vivid view of the lands, provinces and cities on the map of Vietnam.

The book won second prize in the 10th National Foreign Information Award, 2024 for the English version.

“The Land of Brocade and Flowers - Atlas of Vietnam” contains diverse knowledge, close to readers of many ages. Through nearly 200 pages of the book, readers will travel through 7 large spaces and 63 specific provinces and cities. For each province and city, the book provides basic information such as: Area, population, famous landscapes, famous architectural works, famous people, outstanding cultural characteristics... which have become separate identification "codes". All combine to create a richness, diversity, and richness that every Vietnamese person feels proud of every time they remember their homeland and country.

To enliven the journey of knowledge discovery, authors Vo Thi Mai Chi and Ho Quoc Cuong took on the role of narrators, helping readers imagine a trip through the landscapes and spaces of their homeland and country.
