Khatoco expresses gratitude to its employees.

On the afternoon of October 4th, Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) held a ceremony to express gratitude to its employees on the occasion of its 41st anniversary (October 4th, 1983 - October 4th, 2024). At the ceremony, Khatoco's leaders solemnly presented employees with the "For the Cause of Building and Developing Khanh Viet Corporation" badges to honor their contributions to Khatoco's strong development today.

Holding the 35th anniversary badge "For the cause of building and developing Khanh Viet Corporation," Mr. Bui Quang Khuong, who works in the Mechanical and Electrical Department of the Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory, fondly recalls his early days working at the factory 35 years ago. Images of the cigarette production workshop in an old, low-rise building flooded back. Back then, the workshop only had two cigarette rolling machines, next to a manual packaging workshop. Mr. Khuong and his colleagues worked 12 hours a day, sometimes even working through Sundays, with production lasting 18 hours before the shift change. After industrial cleaning, the workers were all covered in sweat. Despite the hardship, everyone was cheerful and enthusiastic about their work. Mr. Bui Quang Khuong shared: “I am proud to have been with Khatoco for most of its 41 years of development. Having been associated with the Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory for 35 years, from its difficult early days in Binh Tan, I am delighted that the new, large-scale, and modern factory has been built in the Trang E Industrial Cluster. Throughout the factory's development, there have been many challenges, but in those times, I clearly felt the tradition of solidarity, willpower, and determination of all the factory's workers to overcome difficulties. Every obstacle has been overcome to achieve the proud results we see today.”

The leaders of Khanh Viet Corporation commended the leadership of Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory for their outstanding achievements for three consecutive years.

At the employee appreciation ceremony, Mr. Quang Mau Hung from Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory and Ms. Ho Thi Mai Anh from Khatoco Trading Company Limited were honored with the 35-year badge "For the cause of building and developing Khanh Viet Corporation," and were even more proud to have dedicated their vibrant youth and wholeheartedly contributed to Khatoco's development. In addition, Khatoco also awarded 13 badges for 30 years, 12 badges for 25 years, 67 badges for 20 years, 109 badges for 15 years, and 82 badges for 10 years "For the cause of building and developing Khanh Viet Corporation" to honor the persistent and dedicated contributions of its employees. This is a well-deserved reward for the efforts and contributions of employees at Khatoco's factories, enterprises, and member units throughout its 41-year journey of building and development.

Mr. Le Quoc Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Members of Khatoco, shared: “The employee appreciation activities are organized solemnly and annually by Khatoco on each anniversary of Khatoco's founding. Each badge, "For the cause of building and developing Khanh Viet Corporation," reflects the Corporation's care and respect for the persistent contributions and dedication of employees in the unit's construction and development. This is a fine traditional culture of Khatoco for many years, serving as a motivation for employees to always stand alongside the company, overcome challenges, and lead Khatoco to new heights.”

Listening to the stories of Khatoco's leaders and employees, and seeing the impressive figures over its 41-year journey of development—from a meager initial capital of 6 million VND to nearly 6,200 billion VND in total assets; nearly 2,500 billion VND in equity; an average annual consolidated revenue of approximately 7,700 billion VND; an average annual contribution to the state budget of approximately 3,400 billion VND; and a total contribution to the state budget exceeding 60,000 billion VND since its establishment—helps us understand more about Khatoco's journey to becoming a major brand today. This achievement is the culmination of the intelligence, willpower, and dedication of Khatoco's leadership and employees throughout its history, guiding the company to impressive milestones and soaring to greater heights.

At the employee appreciation ceremony, the leaders of Khanh Viet Corporation commended and rewarded the leadership of 5 units belonging to the Khatoco parent-subsidiary group for their outstanding achievements for 3 consecutive years, including: Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory; Khatoco Phu Yen Tobacco Factory; Khatoco Raw Materials Tobacco Company; Khanh Viet Corporation Branch in Gia Lai ; and Khatoco Trading Company.
