In early March, at Ba Khan Primary and Secondary School in Tan Mai commune, the Provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony for the 2026 Youth Month with the participation of leaders and more than 300 youth union members, students, and pupils from across the province. This is a vibrant emulation campaign of the youth throughout the province, taking place amidst many important political events. Youth nationwide, and Phu Tho youth in particular, are competing to achieve accomplishments to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026), and looking forward to the 13th National Congress of the Youth Union. Welcome to the upcoming elections for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. This is also the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Provincial Youth Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term. In this spirit, youth unions at all levels are determined to implement many practical projects and activities aimed at the community. During the launching ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union presented gifts to students in difficult circumstances, donated 10 computer sets worth 80 million VND, and presented a youth project to illuminate rural roads worth 50 million VND.
From Tan Mai, the spirit of Youth Month has spread widely, becoming a vibrant emulation movement, promoting the pioneering, volunteer, and creative spirit of the youth throughout the province, contributing to building a more developed and civilized homeland. A highlight of this year's Youth Month is the propaganda activities regarding the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Youth Unions in communes, wards, and affiliated organizations held branch meetings and thematic discussions to learn about the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies; disseminated information on social media platforms; designed and shared vivid and engaging visual communication products; and displayed banners and slogans in residential areas, cultural centers, and schools.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Mai Linh - Secretary of the Thong Nhat Ward Youth Union, said: The Thong Nhat Ward Youth Union has implemented the youth project "Digital Map of Polling Areas in the Ward". This project not only contributes to promoting the application of digital transformation in election propaganda, but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility and creativity of the youth of Thong Nhat Ward in accompanying the local government to successfully organize the election.
The spirit of March quickly spread strongly from the grassroots through many specific and practical projects and activities. Youth Union branches proactively mobilized social resources and volunteer work from young people to implement many meaningful projects, suitable to the actual needs of the locality. Although varying in scale, they all aimed at the common goal of promoting the pioneering and creative spirit of young people, volunteering for community life, and contributing to creating a clear mark of Youth Month throughout the province.
Ignite the aspirations of youth.
During Youth Month, the Provincial Youth Union developed a specific plan and called on all Youth Union branches in the province to actively organize widespread activities, linked to political tasks and the practical needs of each locality and unit, creating a profound impact on the community. Particular emphasis was placed on implementing projects and tasks such as promoting the role of youth in digital transformation, building new rural areas, protecting the environment, and participating in social welfare activities. Each project and task embodies the pioneering spirit and aspiration for contribution of young people. Through these activities, an environment is created for Youth Union members to train, contribute, and mature, contributing to the formation of a generation of young people who live beautifully, possess strong character, intelligence, health, and practical social skills to contribute to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
Comrade Bui Duc Giang - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: The Youth Month of 2026 left a clear mark with activities implemented synchronously, practically, and increasingly in-depth and effective. From specific projects and tasks linked to the local reality, young people have clearly demonstrated their pioneering and creative role, ready to undertake difficult and new tasks. Through this, the role of the Youth Union organization is further affirmed; the trust of the Party Committee, government and people in the Youth Union force is strengthened, and it actively contributes to the goals of socio -economic development and national defense and security.
This year, Youth Month is being held in a new, broader space with a larger and more vibrant force. Therefore, each activity is not just a movement, but is meticulously prepared, systematically organized, ensuring practicality, effectiveness, concrete results, and lasting value. Youth Union branches at all levels have focused on improving the quality of political and ideological education, revolutionary tradition education; and implementing projects and tasks that mark the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's establishment and growth. In the vibrant atmosphere of March, the Youth Union of Vinh Phuc Specialized High School admitted 373 new members for the 2025-2026 school year. Sharing her pride in becoming a member, Nguyen Thi Ngan Giang, a student in class 10A8, expressed: “This is not only an honor, but also a reminder for each of us to follow in the footsteps of our predecessors, to keep the flame of youthful enthusiasm burning, so that each day is a step forward in our growth, and so that the green uniform of the Youth Union always shines brightly and meaningfully under the roof of this beloved school.”
Continuing the tradition of meaningful actions, the Youth Union branches at all levels in the province have simultaneously implemented many practical projects and tasks, linked to the political tasks of each locality. Each action and project not only demonstrates the responsibility and pioneering spirit of young people but also adds bright colors to the development picture of the homeland. March, Youth Month, ignites the flame of enthusiasm in every Youth Union member. From cities to remote villages, the green volunteer uniforms leave their mark on every road, becoming a beautiful symbol of pioneering spirit and responsibility for the community. This is the foundation for the younger generation to realize their aspirations to contribute and help build a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.
