Recently, Hoa Minzy has been continuously invited to participate in major programs as well as to appear in the upcoming blockbuster Red Rain . In the film, Hoa Minzy plays a small role, appearing in only 2 scenes with 2 short lines. However, the female singer also performs the main song of the film Pain in the Middle of Peace, composed by billion-view musician Nguyen Van Chung specifically for the film.

Hoa Minzy sang without receiving any salary when ~~she~~ knew that both Nguyen Van Chung and the producer wanted her to perform "The Pain of Peace" . "I feel like it's fate because I'm also looking for a song like that. I want a song with humane content so that the audience can feel the same as me, which is the feeling of gratitude and remembering the source", the female singer shared with VietNamNet.

Red Rain is the third film that Hoa Minzy has appeared in. After 1 sitcom and 1 movie, she decided that she would never act again and would focus on her music before returning to the screen in Red Rain.

"I used to think that if I acted, I would only act in my own music videos or films I made myself. However, when Army Cinema invited me to participate in a role in Red Rain, I learned about the content of the film as well as my role. It was a short role with only 2 lines of dialogue, the filming process only took place within 2 hours, so I could consider the time to participate.

Furthermore, I am a very patriotic person, so if a film can convey a message about the sacrifices and losses of our ancestors, especially related to the Vietnam People's Army, I am willing to participate and decided to accept the role," Hoa Minzy shared.

The singer said she had never attended any acting school, nor had she ever thought of becoming an actress. With her MVs, she learned and immersed herself in her character. Therefore, for Hoa Minzy, being an actress is much more difficult than being a singer. "That's why I didn't try out for movies even though last year many directors wanted to invite me to castings," Hoa Minzy said.

What is special is that Hoa Minzy did not receive any remuneration for performing the song Pain in the Middle of Peace. The salary for the small role in Red Rain was only enough to cover the cost of her and the crew flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, but she still accepted as a support for Army Cinema.

Recently, Hoa Minzy has been focusing on big projects related to the theme of homeland rather than songs about love. "I have determined that my path in recent years will focus on products about homeland. Currently, Hoa Minzy is busy with the parade event taking place on the morning of September 2. She said: "Being able to stand at Ba Dinh Square as an artist is already a great honor.
