According to regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training , in addition to the three-subject combination of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology, Block B is further divided into several other combinations. This gives candidates more choices and increases their chances of being admitted to their preferred major.

Specifically, Block B is currently divided into 8 subject combinations for university entrance exams as follows:

The subjects considered for admission to B01 are: Mathematics, Biology, and History.
B02 admission criteria include the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, and Geography.
B03 admission criteria include the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, and Literature.
The subjects considered for admission to B04 are: Mathematics, Biology, and Civic Education.
B05 admission criteria include the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, and Social Sciences .
The subjects considered for admission to B08 are: Mathematics, Biology, and English.

Accordingly, Block B2 includes 3 subjects: Mathematics, Biology, and Geography. According to current regulations, the Mathematics exam in the high school graduation exam will be in multiple-choice format with a time limit of 90 minutes.

For Geography, candidates will take the exam as part of the Social Sciences combined subject test. For Biology, it will be included in the Natural Sciences combined subject test, with a time limit of 50 minutes.

In recent years, the expanded high school graduation exam has become more challenging and offers greater differentiation. To achieve high results, candidates need to closely follow the textbook content and also refer to other materials to ensure a solid understanding of the subject matter.

Compared to other exam blocks, the B2 block has fewer universities and majors that use it for admissions. However, this does not mean that the B2 block is outside the scope of your choices for majors and fields of study.

Candidates can choose from the following majors that are currently accepting applications from candidates in the B2 group: Economic Law, Food Technology, Physical Geography, Biology Education, Environmental Engineering Technology, Resource and Environmental Management, Plant Protection, Accounting, Nursing, Nutrition, Law - Economics, and Medicine - Pharmacy.

The B2 group of majors listed above are still limited, but if you truly love them, they are considered a good choice. These professions are in high demand in the future, so you don't have to worry too much about finding a job after graduation.
