Prosecution of 2 suspects for inter-provincial theft

On December 16, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Binh Province Police announced that the unit had just initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and issued a temporary detention order for two suspects who committed many inter-provincial and inter-city thefts.

The two defendants include Tran Van Diep (59 years old, residing in Binh Thuan ) and Dang Van Ngoc (55 years old, residing in Quang Ngai).

At the investigation agency, the two suspects admitted that from 2005 until now, they have committed more than 100 thefts in provinces and cities from the Central region down, by wandering around, pretending to be street vendors to learn about agencies and enterprises...

Diep and Ngoc often act on weekends, when agencies and factories are not working and there are few people... to sneak in and steal safes, take the money and divide it among themselves.

After that, each person went their separate ways. When they ran out of money and needed to commit new thefts, they contacted each other again.

According to the investigation agency, the two suspects had committed the safe theft at Kien Giang Forestry Farm (Le Thuy District, Quang Binh) on June 25 and many similar cases in Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Dong Nai provinces...

On December 15, Quang Binh Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue a detention order for Diep and Ngoc and are continuing to expand the investigation.
