The Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) has just warned about the fact that currently on social networks, there are a number of clips with images of characters claiming to be medical workers at major hospitals, physicians, disease consultants, advertising health foods as medicines to sell products.
The Food Safety Authority clearly states that, Clause 2, Article 27, Decree 15/2018/ND-CP detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Food Safety stipulates: "Do not use images, equipment, costumes, names, letters of medical units, medical facilities, doctors, pharmacists, medical staff, thank you letters from patients, articles of doctors, pharmacists, medical staff". Thus, any doctor, physician, medical staff involved in advertising health protection food products is violating the provisions of current law.

Consumers should be wary of clips introducing doctors, herbalists, medical advice, and advice on using medical products. Consumers also need to be wary of clips introducing patients, using functional food products, and health-protective foods that can be cured.
Believing in false advertising content that makes patients not immediately go to medical facilities for timely medical examination and treatment will skip the treatment phase, causing not only economic losses but also health damage.
