Currently, the Center manages and coordinates 66 ambulances throughout the provincial health system, including directly managing 6 specialized ambulances along with a permanent team of emergency medical personnel. With the motto "quick - accurate - safe," the emergency medical team maintains a 24/7 standby, ready to dispatch ambulances within approximately one minute of receiving information, ensuring timely handling of emergency situations.

In 2025, despite numerous challenges regarding human resources and working conditions, the Center strived to overcome obstacles, promptly responding to thousands of emergency situations and becoming a crucial pillar in the care and protection of people's health. In the first 11 months of 2025, the Center handled over 1,560 emergency transport cases, an increase compared to the same period last year; received and processed over 5,000 emergency calls, and successfully coordinated hundreds of cases from localities to medical facilities in a timely manner. Notably, 100% of emergency information in the province was received and coordinated through the 115 hotline, contributing to ensuring the uniformity and effectiveness of the pre-hospital emergency system.
In addition to their regular duties, the 115 emergency medical service also participates in ensuring medical care at many large-scale political, cultural, and sporting events in the province; important examinations; disaster prevention and control; rescue and relief operations, etc. In all circumstances, the team of pre-hospital emergency medical personnel always adheres to their duties, prioritizing the safety and lives of the people.
According to Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (Deputy Director of the Emergency Transport Center), behind every ambulance trip is the tireless effort of the medical staff. Despite the limited workforce, the heavy workload, and the frequent overtime work required of many staff members, a sense of responsibility and medical ethics are always prioritized.

Along with improving the quality of human resources, the Center focuses on promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in emergency services. The Center continues to effectively operate the online "Vehicle Management and Monitoring" system, applying GPS technology combined with telecommunications and information technology. Each ambulance is equipped with a tracking device with a data SIM card, allowing for online monitoring of the location, speed, and operational status of each vehicle. This enables rapid vehicle dispatch to the scene and helps the health sector evaluate the effectiveness of each unit, promptly adjusting pre-hospital emergency response procedures to improve service quality.
In addition, the Center has implemented remote online consultations directly from the ambulance. When encountering critically ill patients, the emergency team can connect via live video feeds from the ambulance's camera, allowing doctors at the Center to provide timely professional guidance. This solution maximizes the expertise of experienced doctors while improving the skills of emergency teams and increasing the patient survival rate. Furthermore, all calls received through the 115 hotline are recorded, contributing to increased transparency and management efficiency.

Currently, the Center maintains a 24/7 emergency response system with 4 levels of emergency services and a total of 89 pre-hospital emergency response teams across the province. In coordination with local health units, the Center continues to invest in and develop the 115 Emergency Transport Center into a professional, modern, and seamlessly connected emergency transport unit within the province, aiming to become a model connecting with neighboring localities and nationwide. The pre-hospital emergency response teams ensure strict adherence to professional technical procedures in pre-hospital emergency care, while also connecting and providing initial first aid information to healthcare facilities to prepare for patient reception.
The Deputy Director of the Emergency Medical Transport Center further shared: In the coming time, the Center will continue to propose additional personnel, invest in equipment, improve the quality of professional training, and promote the application of digital transformation to better meet the requirements of emergency care and patient transport. The unit's goal is to gradually build a professional, modern, and synchronously connected emergency medical transport system within the province.
