Second Session of the People's Council of Tu Bong Commune

On the afternoon of June 30th, the People's Council of Tu Bong commune, term II, 2026-2031, held its second session to review and assess the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, budget revenue and expenditure, and public investment in the first six months of the year, and to make resolutions on many issues aimed at successfully achieving the goals and tasks for 2026.

According to the report presented at the meeting, in the first six months of the year, the socio -economic situation of the commune continued to remain stable in many areas. Total state budget revenue in the area reached nearly 128.4 billion VND, equivalent to 79.42% of the projected budget. The total public investment capital plan for 2026 of the commune is over 28.3 billion VND, of which 9.44 billion VND had been disbursed by the end of May (reaching 33.32% of the plan). The total output of exploited and farmed aquatic products reached 850 tons, equivalent to 54.83% of the plan. Land clearance for key projects continued to be focused on. For the Van Thang Resettlement Area Project, Phase 1, the locality completed the inventory and verification of land ownership for 203 cases, approved compensation plans totaling over 143.9 billion VND, and handed over 31.9 hectares of land. At the same time, actively implement procedures related to the Co Ma High-Class New Urban Area Project, the Tu Bong New Urban Area Project, and the North-South High-Speed Railway Project.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and gave opinions on many issues of concern to voters; and simultaneously adopted several resolutions such as: Approving the number and list of deputy heads and members of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Commune People's Council; supplementing the budget; approving the supplementary budget for recurrent expenditures for the first six months of the year; approving adjustments and additions to the 2026 public investment plan (first time); approving the plan for using increased revenue and remaining expenditure from 2025 carried over to 2026; and the projected public investment plan for 2027…
