In the heart of Dong Nai province lies a strangely beautiful area, where the water stretches endlessly, embracing pristine forests. Tri An has long been an attractive destination for outdoor tourism for visitors from both within and outside the province.

Located just over 40 km from the provincial center, visitors can easily travel by car or motorbike along the lush, tree-lined roads. Here, the lakeside paths become a favorite stop for cycling on the hydroelectric dam, jogging, and breathing in the pristine air. Every scene is as beautiful as a nature postcard.

The journey will become even more enriching when visitors accompany Mr. Than Van Linh, a local guide who knows every trail and island intimately and has a deep love for nature. Or they can join Mr. Le Nhat Minh Quan, a forest ranger from the Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, on a trekking adventure through the forest. Mr. Linh and Mr. Quan will suggest the optimal itinerary for visitors to fully enjoy the tranquility of Tri An.

In particular, the program will take viewers on a tour of the Tri An Hydroelectric Power Plant and introduce them to Mr. Huynh Ngoc Cuong, the Operations Workshop Manager. Here, you will discover interesting information about this magnificent project. Tri An Lake is one of the largest artificial lakes in Vietnam, with a surface area of over 300 km² and 76 large and small islands. The lake was formed when the hydroelectric dam became operational in 1987 and has now become a unique ecological zone.

Tri An is one of the three core areas of the Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO in 2011, and is a national tourist destination.

If the lake is the heart, then the forest is the lungs of Tri An. Surrounding the lake is the Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, where visitors can trek through the forest and explore the diverse tropical forest ecosystem.
