In the heart of Dong Nai, there is a strange blue sky, where the water stretches endlessly, embracing the primeval forests. Tri An has long been an attractive picnic destination for tourists inside and outside the province.

Just over 40 km from the provincial center, visitors can easily travel by car or motorbike along the green, shady roads. Here, the lakeside roads become favorite stops for cycling on the hydroelectric dam, jogging and breathing in the pristine air. Each frame is as beautiful as a natural postcard.

The journey will become more profound when the audience accompanies Mr. Than Van Linh, a local guide who knows every trail, every island, big and small, and has a love for nature. Or trekking through the forest with Mr. Le Nhat Minh Quan, a Ranger of Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve. Mr. Linh and Mr. Quan will suggest the optimal schedule for visitors to fully enjoy the peace when coming to Tri An.

In particular, the program will take the audience to visit Tri An Hydropower Plant and meet Mr. Huynh Ngoc Cuong, Manager of the Operation Workshop. Here, you will discover interesting information about this great project. Because Tri An Lake is one of the largest artificial lakes in Vietnam with a surface area of over 300 km² and 76 large and small islands. The lake was formed when the hydropower dam went into operation in 1987 and has now become a special ecological area.

Tri An is one of the three core areas of the Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO in 2011 and is a national tourist destination.

If the lake is the heart, then the forest is the lung of Tri An. Surrounding the lake is the Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, where visitors can trek through the forest and explore the diverse tropical forest ecosystem.
