Ms. NTT (NHB's mother) said that, on the morning of May 25.5, she took her child to a daycare facility in MN, at this time the baby was normal. At 14:30 p.m. on the same day, the teacher called to inform her that after a nap, baby B. was crying and lying still, asking her to come pick her up. Due to busy work, Ms. T. informed the teacher that she would ask her grandfather to come pick her up.
“About 10 minutes later, the teacher called again to urge me to go to school urgently because baby B. had difficulty breathing. I immediately asked the company to leave work to run to take the baby to the hospital. At about 15:15, I went to school and saw that the baby's hands and feet were purple. My husband and I immediately took the baby to H. Chau Thanh Medical Center for emergency. However, when I went to the hospital for about 40 minutes, the doctors told me that my baby would not survive,” said Ms. T.
After the incident, H. Chau Thanh's functional forces came to examine the scene and perform an autopsy to clarify the cause.
Head of Education and Training Department H. Chau Thanh said: "The authorities are involved to verify and clarify the cause of death of B. When there is official information, the press will be notified".
Ms. Tuyen said that the MN childcare facility is under the management of the People's Committee of Vinh Hanh Commune. The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Chau Thanh is coordinating with relevant authorities to review and handle this child care facility according to regulations.
