Promoting the cultural values ​​of ethnic minority communities.

BAC NINH - Through exhibitions, collections, and experiential activities, Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 has been contributing to introducing, preserving, and spreading the unique cultural values ​​of ethnic minority communities in the province.

In recent years, alongside its mission of preserving and promoting cultural heritage, Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 has focused on innovating the content and format of its exhibitions to bring the culture of ethnic minorities closer to the public. Currently, Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 has 7 thematic exhibition areas, simulating the cultural life and activities of 7 ethnic minority groups living in the province, including: Cao Lan, San Chi, Hoa, Tay, Nung, San Diu, and Dao. The visual exhibition style, linked to the context of daily life, creates appeal, helping visitors easily access and better visualize the community's culture.

Implementing Project 6 under the National Target Program for socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030, Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 focuses on collecting and supplementing artifacts; and at the same time, coordinates with local communities in restoring, preserving, and promoting intangible cultural values ​​at risk of disappearing. Besides regular exhibitions, on major anniversaries, the Museum collaborates in organizing many activities to introduce and perform intangible cultural heritage such as: folk song performances, traditional costume shows, reenactments of some rituals and customs, and introductions to the cuisine of ethnic minorities.

According to statistics, in 2025, Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 is expected to welcome nearly 60,000 visitors. Not only limited to the province, the museum also collaborates in organizing exhibitions and introducing the cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in many other provinces and cities, thereby expanding its promotional reach and creating a wider impact.

In the coming period, Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 will continue to coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to organize tours and experiential learning programs, linking heritage education with traditional education for the younger generation.
