Spreading "Digital Front" in Quang Tri

Not just a software application, "Digital Front" has become a new method of operation, creating substantial changes in Front work, spreading from each agency to residential areas in Quang Tri province.

In the context of national digital transformation being considered a driving force to accelerate development in science and technology, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Quang Tri province is turning awareness into action, turning technology into daily needs, and turning data into administrative values.

In mid-September 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Trach commune organized a training course on "Application of information technology in Front work and software for operational management in Party agencies". The training course was deployed for the Front Work Committee of residential areas, Executive Committees of mass organizations and all officers of the Front agencies, focusing on learning about the "Digital Front" model and how to operate synchronously and uniformly on a digital platform.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thanh - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Trach commune shared: Through the training, local Front officials have acquired more digital skills, meeting work requirements. It can be said that from "learning to know" has progressed to "learning to master", more importantly, the training course has demonstrated the determination of the grassroots Front in proactively innovating, flexibly applying technology, and gradually building a modern "Digital Front".

Implementing Resolution No. 57, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hoi Ward has promoted the mobilization of union members, association members and people from all walks of life to agree and respond with concrete actions. Mr. Bui Quang Vinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hoi Ward said: We identify digital skills training for officials as "new software" so that all changes take place quickly and correctly. From the training course, officials working on the Front in the locality have known how to use digital platforms, operate AI tools in propaganda, mobilization, social supervision, policy criticism, etc.

In recent times, implementing the digital transformation program, the Front and socio- political organizations at all levels in Quang Tri have regularly organized training courses to improve skills in propaganda, information technology application capacity, and effective use of social networks in propaganda work... According to statistics, the Quang Tri Provincial Front has coordinated to organize over 2,000 propaganda and training sessions for over 90,000 people...

Mr. Nguyen Phong - Specialist of the Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province - the direct instructor said: We have popularized the use of operational management software to organize, read and export report data quickly; skills to look up interconnected documents on the Party system. At the training sessions, we also guide the support AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gamma, NotebookLM..., helping cadres analyze data, look up documents, present presentation slides quickly, save time, and ensure high accuracy.

"Digital Front" database

Not just a slogan, the "Digital Front" in Quang Tri is implementing many practical and meaningful activities. From documents, reports, monitoring work... to skill training, everything is standardized, coded, and digitized. Digital transformation not only improves work processes but is also creating a new culture of transparent, fast, and accurate operations.

To date, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province is one of the first units in the country to complete the construction of the "Digital Front" database across the entire network. The Quang Tri Front has completed the construction of a database for all 6 provincial-level units, 78/78 communes, 3 grassroots unions and 1,923 residential areas with full information on the Front Work Committee and mass organizations. This is not just a "digitized list" but a data platform serving management, serving social reflection, serving monitoring the population situation of each hamlet.

The Prime Minister directed to go to every alley, knock on every door, check every person to promote digital transformation for the whole population.

Every week, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organizes 2 to 5 conferences via Google Meet/Webex, ensuring 100% of communes and wards are connected. Posting meeting documents on "Quang Tri Front", using QR codes in training and meetings, helps shorten preparation time; at the same time, increases transparency, avoids duplication and loss of information. In addition, the Provincial Front builds and puts into use the software "Management and monitoring of supervision - criticism - handling of petitions", combining online opinion collection tools, online surveys - increasing the depth of people's supervision.

Mr. Le Cong Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province affirmed: Promoting digital transformation in the Front system is a key task to realize Resolution 57; improving digital capacity for Front officials is to improve the quality of management, operation, and service to the people; is to save costs and time. Therefore, the "Digital Front" in Quang Tri is not only to implement policies but also to create new habits in administration, communication, and connection to serve the people.
