Learn to master technology.
In the context of national digital transformation being seen as a driving force for accelerating development in science and technology, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Quang Tri province is turning awareness into action, making technology a daily necessity, and transforming data into governance value.
In mid-September 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Trach commune organized a training course on the topic "Application of Information Technology in Fatherland Front work and operational management software in Party agencies". The training course was conducted for the Fatherland Front working committees of residential areas, the Executive Committees of mass organizations, and all Fatherland Front officials, focusing on familiarizing themselves with the "Digital Fatherland Front" model and how to manage operations synchronously and uniformly on a digital platform.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thanh, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Trach commune, shared: "Through the training, Fatherland Front officials in the locality have acquired more digital skills, meeting the requirements of their work. It can be said that from 'learning to know' we have progressed to 'learning to master,' and more importantly, the training course has demonstrated the determination of the grassroots Fatherland Front in proactively innovating, flexibly applying technology, and gradually building a modern 'Digital Fatherland Front'."

Staff from the Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province instruct veterans on technology usage skills.
Implementing Resolution No. 57, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hoi Ward has intensified efforts to mobilize members, affiliates, and all segments of the population to agree and respond with concrete actions. Mr. Bui Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hoi Ward, said: "We consider training digital skills for officials as the 'new software' to ensure that all changes occur quickly and correctly. From the training course, local Fatherland Front officials have learned to use digital platforms and operate AI tools in propaganda, mobilization, social monitoring, and policy critique…"
Over the past period, implementing the digital transformation program, the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations at all levels in Quang Tri province have regularly organized training courses to improve skills in propaganda, information technology application, and effective use of social media in propaganda work... According to statistics, the Quang Tri Provincial Fatherland Front has coordinated and organized over 2,000 propaganda and training sessions for over 90,000 participants…
Mr. Nguyen Phong, a specialist at the Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, who directly provided the training, said: "We have disseminated information on how to use the operational management software, how to organize, read, and export data reports quickly, and skills in searching for interconnected documents on the Party system. During the training sessions, we also guided participants on AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, Gamma, NotebookLM, etc., helping staff analyze data, search for documents, and create presentation slides quickly, saving time and ensuring high accuracy."
The "Digital Front" database
More than just a slogan, the "Digital Front" in Quang Tri is implementing many practical and meaningful activities. From documents and reports to monitoring work and skills training, everything is standardized, coded, and digitized. Digital transformation is not only improving work processes but is also creating a new operational culture that is transparent, fast, and accurate.
To date, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province is one of the first units nationwide to complete the construction of a "Digital Fatherland Front" database across the entire province. The Quang Tri Fatherland Front has completed the database for all 6 provincial-level units, 78/78 communes, 3 grassroots trade unions, and 1,923 residential areas, with complete information on the Fatherland Front Working Committees and other organizations. This is not just "digitizing lists," but a data platform serving management, reflecting social issues, and monitoring the situation of residents in each village and hamlet.

The Prime Minister instructed: Go door-to-door, check on every household, and reach out to every person to promote nationwide digital transformation.
Weekly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province organizes 2 to 5 conferences via Google Meet/Webex, ensuring 100% connectivity in communes and wards. Posting meeting documents on the "Quang Tri Fatherland Front" website and using QR codes in training and meetings helps shorten preparation time while increasing transparency and preventing duplication and loss of information. In addition, the provincial Fatherland Front has developed and implemented a software program called "Management and Monitoring of Supervision, Criticism, and Complaint Handling," combining online opinion gathering tools and online surveys to enhance the depth of people's supervision.
Mr. Le Cong Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, affirmed: Promoting digital transformation within the Fatherland Front system is a key task to realize Resolution 57; enhancing the digital capacity of Fatherland Front officials means improving the quality of management, administration, and service to the people; and saving costs and time. Therefore, the "Digital Fatherland Front" in Quang Tri is not just about implementing policies, but about creating new habits in governance, communication, and connectivity to serve the people.
