(CLO) On 11/11, the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee announced that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a Decision on establishing a Working Group and a Support Group. The Working Group resolves problems in reviewing and reporting capital sources for forming housing funds and state-owned land for resettlement.
The Working Group consists of 34 members, led by Mr. Tran Hoang Quan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction. The Working Group is responsible for coordinating with departments, branches, localities and units managing state-owned apartments and land for resettlement, including: Ho Chi Minh City Housing Development Fund, Ho Chi Minh City Land Development Fund, Ho Chi Minh City Housing Business Management Company Limited, public service companies of districts... to carry out assigned tasks in the process of reviewing and reporting on capital sources for forming housing funds and land for resettlement.
In addition, the Working Group manages and arranges the use of housing and land funds for resettlement of specific projects; provides guidance on the payment of revenues to the city budget according to regulations; provides guidance on the settlement of public investment capital for completed projects according to regulations; and handles debts that must be performed when handing over housing and land funds to the Housing Management and Construction Inspection Center for management and operation. This Group will handle transitional matters when handing over housing and land funds to the Housing Management and Construction Inspection Center.
The working group reports the working results to the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and proposes to the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to direct and resolve problems beyond the authority of the working group.
Meanwhile, the Working Group consists of 70 members led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Director of the Center for Housing Management and Construction Inspection, Department of Construction. The Working Group is responsible for assisting the Working Group and implementing the instructions of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee related to the tasks of the Working Group.
Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requests the Working Group and the Working Group's Support Group to report (through the Department of Home Affairs) in writing on self-dissolution after completing their tasks.
Head of the Housing Development and Real Estate Market Department, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction Pham Dang Ho said that in the past, the locality has allocated 5.451 apartments and land plots to serve resettlement and temporary residence for 258 key public investment projects in the area. Among them are many large projects such as Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Ring Road 2, Xuyen Tam Canal... However, the above land and housing fund is still not enough to meet people's needs.
To speed up the urban beautification process and at the same time ensure a stable life for the people, the Ho Chi Minh City government has taken many drastic actions to create conditions for the formation of a housing fund for resettlement.
The working group to remove obstacles in housing and land funds for resettlement is one of many efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City government.
