Lee Kang-in contributed to PSG's victory. |
Luis Enrique's team faced considerable pressure ahead of the international break due to a series of unconvincing performances. However, against a Le Havre side lacking form, PSG still managed to assert their status as the reigning champions.
In the first half, midfielder Lee Kang-in gave PSG the lead. From a cross by Nuno Mendes on the left wing, the South Korean international unleashed a left-footed shot that left goalkeeper Mory Diaw with no chance at near post. This was also Lee's first goal for PSG in Ligue 1 this season.
In the second half, PSG controlled the game and continued to put pressure on Le Havre's goal. In the 65th minute, after a scramble in the penalty area, midfielder Joao Neves unleashed a shot that hit the post before bouncing into the net, increasing the score to 2-0.
In the 89th minute, striker Bradley Barcola accelerated to receive a pass from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia before finishing with a diagonal shot, sealing a 3-0 victory for PSG.
This result extends PSG's unbeaten run in Ligue 1 to eight matches (five wins, three draws) and puts them back at the top of the table, two points ahead of Marseille.
