Provincial Festival of Excellent Team Leaders

(BLC) – In 2 days (June 4-5), the Provincial Youth Union organized the 2023 Provincial-level Excellent Youth Union Commander Festival.

The festival has over 50 contestants selected from the grassroots round at teams of schools in 4 districts: Tam Duong, Than Uyen, Tan Uyen, Phong Tho and Lai Chau city.

Delegates take souvenir photos with contestants at the opening ceremony of the festival.

The contestants went through 3 rounds. For the Wise Team Leader round, the contestants answered questions about 6 basic knowledge groups and completed 15 multiple choice questions and 5 knowledge essay questions. After this round, the Organizing Committee (OC) selected 20 contestants with the highest scores to continue the Talent Team Leader round.

In the Talent Team Command competition, the contestants practiced the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team ritual and demonstrated their skills (messaging, staging, performing, ensemble performance, singing and dancing in the school yard...). The Organizing Committee continued to select 10 contestants with the highest scores to compete in the Brave Team Command competition.

Candidates compete in the Team Commander's bravery competition in the form of dramatization.

In the content of the Team Leader competition, candidates introduce themselves, present, debate and propagate about one of the following topics: preventing child marriage and incestuous marriage; preventing and combating child injuries in the community; digital technology and preventing and combating abuse in cyberspace; school violence: consequences, implications and ways to prevent and combat school violence, building beautiful friendships, saying no to school violence...

Comrade Vu Thi Mai Dinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union awarded first and second prizes to individuals with high achievements at the festival.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to contestant Nguyen Minh Tuyet - a student of class 8A2, Quyet Tien Secondary School (Lai Chau city) and 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 6 consolation prizes to contestants with high achievements. The Organizing Committee also awarded certificates to the winning units of the whole delegation. The first prize went to the Than Uyen District Team Command delegation; 2 second prizes: Lai Chau City Team Command delegation and Tan Uyen District Team Command delegation. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Certificate of Excellent Team Commander at the provincial level in 2023 to individuals participating in the festival.
