Tuan Quan Temple is a sacred temple located on the right bank of the Red River. Before the 19th century, it was commonly known as "Quan Tuan Shrine". From the late 19th century to the present day, the temple has officially been named "Tuan Quan Temple".

The temple is dedicated to the goddess Lieu Hanh, who is believed to be Princess Quynh Hoa, who descended to earth and rendered meritorious service to the nation and its people. She was bestowed the title of "National Mother Queen Hoang An Phuong Dung" by King Le Hien Tong. Additionally, the temple also worships Saint Tran Quoc Tuan, who helped the king fight invaders and save the country.

In 2005, Tuan Quan Temple was recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic. Not only is it a place of religious worship for the people, but the temple is also associated with many important historical milestones of the country, linked to the names of national heroes and patriotic figures, and served as a gathering place for forces and fundraising to support the resistance war.
