Loc Troi Seeds and the Myanmar Rice Federation have officially established a strategic partnership in the field of rice seeds, opening up opportunities for developing a sustainable rice value chain, promoting technology transfer, and expanding agricultural connections between Vietnam and Myanmar.

On the morning of July 27th, Loc Troi Seeds Joint Stock Company (LTS) and the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) signed a memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation in the research, breeding, production, and commercialization of high-quality rice varieties.
Mr. Thet Zin Maung, Head of the Myanmar Rice Federation delegation; Mr. Tran Ngoc Thach, Director of the Mekong Delta Rice Institute; Mr. Tran Thanh Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province; and Mr. Huynh Van Thon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Loc Troi Group, attended the event.
According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in researching and developing high-yield, high-quality rice varieties that are adaptable to climate change and suitable for cultivation conditions in Myanmar. Simultaneously, they will establish raw material areas, develop production systems and supply chains for high-quality seeds, and promote the import and export of plant seeds between the two countries.
The cooperation also focuses on sharing experiences in organizing raw material areas, cultivation processes, procurement, processing, distribution, and traceability, aiming to perfect the rice value chain in a modern and sustainable direction.

The Myanmar Rice Federation visited Loc Troi Group's sustainable agricultural ecosystem.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Thet Zin Maung, Head of the Myanmar Rice Federation delegation, said that Myanmar has a great need for high-quality rice varieties adapted to climate change and modern production models. This also serves as a foundation for the two sides to expand long-term cooperation in the field of plant breeding.
Chairman of Loc Troi Group, Huynh Van Thon, expects that the combination of Loc Troi's research and breeding capabilities and Myanmar's agricultural development potential will form sustainable rice production models, bringing long-term value to farmers and the agricultural sector of both countries.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the Myanmar Rice Federation visited Loc Troi Group's sustainable agricultural ecosystem, including: a seed research laboratory, a seed testing and breeding area, a rice seed production area, a seed production factory, and a rice processing plant.
