The assailant's testimony

The person who came to the house and assaulted teacher N.D.T on October 14th was Luong Dinh Luan (27 years old), residing in Phu Thang village, Ham Phu commune, Ham Thuan Bac district.

Initially, Luan confessed that on October 13th, he went with Mr. NNA, the parent of student NNGH from class 11A2, to Mr. T.'s house, and due to anger, he attacked and injured Mr. T.

Currently, Mr. N.D.T is being treated at People's Hospital 115 in Ho Chi Minh City for a broken nose, jaw injury, and hematoma in his left eye.

The investigating police agency has compiled a file to receive the suspect and initiated procedures to request an assessment of the victim's bodily injury rate in order to handle the case according to the law.

The case is still being investigated thoroughly by the Ham Tan District Police, Binh Thuan Province.

Previously, VTC News reported on the cause of the incident: on October 13th, outside of class hours, Mr. N.D.T, Mr. T., and Ms. L., the homeroom teachers of class 11A2, invited students from class 11A2 to the student affairs office to coordinate in handling the issue of students in class 11A2 receiving friend requests from many unfamiliar Facebook accounts.

These Facebook accounts used photos of many students and teachers from the school as profile pictures and posted negative, inappropriate, and uncivilized information that negatively impacted the school's educational environment and society.

On October 14th, the father of a student from class 11A2 of the National High School for Gifted Students visited the homes of teachers N.D.T. and T. to express his frustration and disagreement with the way the two teachers approached and collaborated with his child.

The father of student NNGH and his companions attacked teacher T., causing serious injuries that required him to be hospitalized.
