Rice prices today, March 25, in the Mekong Delta region increased with rice.

Specifically, the price of raw rice IR 504 today increased by 100 VND/kg to 10,700 - 10,750 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 remained stable at 13,100 - 13,200 VND/kg, an increase of 2,002 - 300 VND/kg.
For by-products, the price of IR 504 sheet increased by VND50/kg to VND10,650 - 10,750/kg. Meanwhile, dry bran remained stable at around VND5,000 - 5,050/kg.

At retail markets, rice prices remained stable. Accordingly, the price of regular rice fluctuated around VND14,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine rice VND17,000 - 18,000/kg; Nang Nhen rice VND26,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice VND19,000 - 20,000/kg; Huong jasmine rice VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice VND20,000/kg.
Regarding rice, today rice prices did not fluctuate. According to the update of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, IR 50404 rice remained at 7,400 - 7,600 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuated at 7,500 - 7,600 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuated around 7,700 - 7,900 VND/kg; OM 18 rice price was at 7,900 - 8,100 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice remained around 7,900 - 8,000 VND/kg.
In the rice market, the average price of fresh rice purchased at the field is 7,800 - 8,200 VND/kg. Recorded in the provinces in the Mekong Delta today, the market is stable. In Soc Trang, Bac Lieu , Hau Giang, fragrant rice of all kinds is stable in price, transactions are regular, and demand is quite good. Transactions are mainly ST 24 rice. In Can Tho, the winter-spring rice crop is still in the fields, farmers have started sowing the summer-autumn crop.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, by mid-March, the Southern provinces had harvested 796,837 hectares, accounting for over 50% of the cultivated area. Localities have also planted 195,669 hectares of summer-autumn rice, accounting for 14% of the plan; concentrated in the provinces of Long An, Dong Thap, Tien Giang, Kien Giang, Can Tho, Hau Giang, Vinh Long, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, and Ba Ria Vung Tau.
In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable today after an upward adjustment. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 5% broken rice is currently priced at $596/ton; 25% broken rice is priced at $568/ton; and 100% broken rice is priced at $481/ton.
