New rules of 'Rap Viet 2024'

After 3 seasons, Rap Viet has not only won the hearts of millions of viewers, but also succeeded in reaping a series of prestigious awards. The contestants from the program have become sought-after Gen Z rappers at the present time such as: MCK, tlinh, Double2T, 24k.Right, Captain, Phap Kieu... and especially RHYDER - who just became the runner-up at Anh Trai Say Hi.

The 7 Powers of This Year's Show

To achieve such success, especially with a program that has gone through 3 seasons, the difference of each season is very important. Season 4 brought the "change of throne" of Suboi, Karik, the participation of Thailand's top rapper F.Hero as well as the presence of the world famous DJ duo - The Hotel Lobby.

Not stopping there, the rules of the conquest round this year will also be more harsh and unpredictable. As usual, in this round, the coaches will decide to choose the contestant for their team by choosing. If the contestant has 2 or more choices, the right to decide which team the contestant will be on will belong to the 3 judges. Most importantly, each coach will have a golden hat in hand that they can use to win the contestant to their team and erase the decision of the 3 judges.

However, coming to Rap Viet 2024 , the battle for contestants is even more intense as the coaches now have the power to lock gold.

Accordingly, this privilege is reserved for selected cycling coaches only. Only the fastest one can use the golden lock and put it on a coach they consider a potential "threat" in competing for their favorite contestant.

Coaches wearing yellow locks will not be allowed to compete for contestants, debate, or use yellow hats.

This year in particular, the first choice will be selected in advance during the casting round.

In addition, unlike previous seasons - when the powerful golden hat was the ultimate "weapon" of the coaches, at Rap Viet 2024, besides the "golden lock", each coach will have 1 "first choice" right.

Accordingly, all 4 coaches will be able to see the casting round and use their first choice to choose a contestant for their team before the conquest round takes place. The coaches will not know each other's first choice and the contestant will not know that they are the first choice, while the yellow hat and yellow lock rules will be disabled for the first choice contestant.
