Masterise Group becomes an organization affiliated with Techcombank.

Real estate giant Masterise Group has been linked to Techcombank since the end of June 2024. Businessman Ho Anh Minh, son of Ho Hung Anh - chairman of Techcombank, is currently the "captain" of Masterise Group.

According to the 2024 corporate governance report of Vietnam Technological and Commercial Bank ( Techcombank ), as of June 29, 2024, Masterise Group Joint Stock Company is identified as a related party to Techcombank, due to the management and ownership involvement of individuals related to Mr. Ho Hung Anh, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Specifically, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (wife of Mr. Ho Hung Anh) owns over 10% of Masterise Group's charter capital. Mr. Ho Anh Minh (son of Mr. Ho Hung Anh, born in 1995) and Mr. Ho Anh Ngoc (brother of Mr. Ho Hung Anh) are the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and also own over 10% of the charter capital.

According to information from the National Business Registration Portal, Masterise Group was established in February 2007, initially named Thao Dien Investment Joint Stock Company (THDI JSC), with its main business being real estate. The name change to Masterise, as it is now, took place at the end of 2019.

Mr. Ho Anh Minh officially assumed the position of General Director and Legal Representative of Masterise Group from the beginning of 2025, replacing his predecessor, Mr. Tran Hoai Viet Anh (born in 1988).

Masterise Group is known for owning a massive portfolio of real estate projects from North to South Vietnam. These include: The Grand, Masteri West Heights, Lumiere Evergreen, Masteri Waterfront, Lumiere SpringBay Ocean Park 2, Masteri Grand Avenue ( Hanoi ), Grand Maria, Global City, Lumiere Boulevard, Lumiere Riverside (Ho Chi Minh City)...

In 2013, Masterise launched the Masterise Thao Dien project, followed by other high-end apartment projects such as Masteri Millennium, M-One Saigon, and M-One Gia Dinh. 2020 marked a turning point for Masterise with the development of luxury products like Grand Marina Saigon and Global City, with selling prices potentially reaching 500 million VND/m2.

According to Techcombank's 2024 governance report, Mr. Ho Anh Minh owns more than 344.68 million TCB shares, equivalent to 4.87% of the bank's charter capital.

On the stock market, the current share price of TCB is 27,300 VND. With the number of shares he holds, it is estimated that Mr. Minh owns assets worth nearly 9,500 billion VND on the stock exchange.

Mr. Ho Hung Anh, Chairman of Techcombank (1970), is the co-founder of Masan Group, a diversified private conglomerate operating in the consumer goods, retail, agriculture, and mining sectors. In April 2019, Mr. Ho Hung Anh was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Techcombank for the third consecutive term (2019-2024).

Mr. Ho Hung Anh is one of the entrepreneurs who started their businesses in Eastern Europe and achieved great success after returning to Vietnam.
