According to the Times , Mbeumo wants to increase his income fivefold if he moves to MU to play football from the 2025/26 season. Currently, the Cameroon international receives 50,000 pounds a week at Brentford. He expects to earn 250,000 pounds a week at Old Trafford, which means he is among the highest-paid players at the club.

It is expected that MU is still seeking a common voice with Mbeumo on the terms of the contract. The "Red Devils" will also soon open official negotiations with Brentford on this deal. Currently, no official contact has been made.

On the other hand, Mbeumo is also willing to go to MU even though he is being sought after by Arsenal, Newcastle or Tottenham. He accepts that the "Red Devils" will not have a ticket to the European Cup next season.

If the deal goes through, Mbeumo will help coach Ruben Amorim have more options in attack. The striker has proven his ability in the Premier League with 20 goals and 7 assists in 38 appearances last season.

Brentford are demanding £60m for the 25-year-old, but United could meet Mbeumo's wage demands if they release Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, the two highest-paid players in the squad.

Casemiro, 33, is currently the highest-paid player at United with a salary of £375,000 a week, followed by Bruno Fernandes and Rashford, each on £325,000 a week. Meanwhile, Sancho earns £300,000 a week, while Mason Mount also earns £250,000 a week.

MU has also successfully recruited Matheus Cunha for a fee of 62.5 million pounds, with a salary of up to 200,000 pounds per week, according to Telegraph .

Bruno Fernandes' failed rabona On the evening of May 30, Bruno Fernandes failed to execute a rabona in the friendly match where MU beat Hong Kong (China) 3-1.
