Recently, many tracks featuring MCK's vocals have been appearing on social media, raising suspicions that the rapper's unreleased album tracks have been leaked (illegally distributed).
On the evening of March 3rd, MCK spoke out on his personal page about the incident, suspecting his former bandmate Lope Pham of leaking the music. He also addressed the issue of profit sharing from the album "99%" —a project they had previously collaborated on.
"I didn't leak it myself because I didn't even have the file. Whoever leaked it probably knows who it was. I'm always fair about money, so from now on, DJ Lope Pham will not receive any more money from the 99% album. Lope Pham's share will be donated to charity. As for Lope Pham's share, I've already paid it in full by July 2025. The shares of the other members will still be paid as usual," the rapper wrote.

Along with that, MCK posted a screenshot of a message from someone who said they had heard the rapper's album in advance.
Shortly after, Lope Pham also spoke out on his personal page, refuting the allegations from his former teammate. "I will only confront the person I need to confront, and I'm not leaking anything, guys," the producer shared.
MCK (real name Nghiem Vu Hoang Long, born in 1999) rose to fame after participating in the Rap Viet program. In Rap Viet, MCK was highly praised by the coaches for his ability to play melodic rap, even being called "the successor of JustaTee".
In the post-Rap Viet music scene, MCK is considered a standout figure who has effectively leveraged the platform from the program. He has achieved success with his Rap/Hip hop mixed with R&B style, incorporating auto-tune. Songs like " Chìm sâu" ( Submerged) reaching 89 million views and " Tại vì sao" (Why) reaching 49 million, along with a series of songs from his album "99%," have been well-received by audiences, showing that MCK has taken the right direction. "99%" is also one of the quality products that contributed to creating a vibrant and diverse market for Vpop in 2023. MCK previously collaborated with AMEE on the MV "Mộng Yu" and his rap verse was highly praised.
