Ms. Tran Thi My Trinh and other parents watched the program attentively.

Ms. My Trinh is the mother of Huynh Tran Phuong Anh, a student in class 12/2 at Go Cong Dong High School. She wakes up at 5 a.m. to get ready before the two of them go to school. Ms. Trinh said her daughter is very self-disciplined in her studies, proactively managing her time for schoolwork and preparing for the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test and the 2024 high school graduation exam.

"Since 10th grade, my daughter has been determined to get into the general medicine program at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy or Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, so she studied day and night," Ms. Trinh said. "Having also experienced the same pressure at the age of 18, I understand. I encouraged her to study, but I didn't put pressure on her to get into this or that school. As long as she felt she wanted to pursue a certain field, I would support her wholeheartedly," the hardworking mother confided.

Following the counseling session from school representatives yesterday morning, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Loan, 59 years old, mother of student Nguyen Lan Anh, class 12/12 at Truong Dinh High School, Go Cong Town, said she is a retired physics teacher from Ward 5 Secondary School, Go Cong Town. "When Lan Anh was born, I was 41 years old and my husband was 60. When she was in 10th grade, my husband suddenly passed away, which caused her a great emotional shock, but she has since overcome it. We love Lan Anh very much and hope she will always be strong and pursue the career she loves…," Ms. Loan confided.

Lan Anh excels in English. In 9th grade, she won an honorable mention in the provincial-level excellent student competition. In both 11th and 12th grades, she won third prize in English in the same competition. She hopes to be admitted to a major in English language or English pedagogy so that she can become a teacher like her parents…
