Medvedev faces Sinner in Vienna Open final

In the first semi-final of the Vienna Open 2023, Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas played with dedication. Tsitsipas had 3 chances to break first but could not take advantage.

Medvedev did not miss his chance in game 7 and won set 1 with a score of 6-4. In set 2, Medvedev had 3 chances to break his opponent in game 7 and game 11. However, the Greek player successfully neutralized them.

After 12 games, the score was 6-6 and the two players were forced to enter a tie-break series. In the nerve-wracking "shootout" series, Medvedev won 8-6. After two tense sets, the Russian player won 6-4, 7(8)-6(6) and won the right to enter the final.

In the other semi-final of the Vienna Open 2023, Jannik Sinner defeated Andrey Rublev in two sets with a score of 7-5, 7-6. The Italian will face Daniil Medvedev in the unpredictable final at 8:00 p.m. on October 29.

In the semi-finals of the 2023 ATP 500 Basel Open in Switzerland, Hubert Hurkacz defeated Ugo Humbert in 3 sets with the scores of 6-4, 3-6 and 7-5. The Polish player won the right to enter the final and hopes to win a ticket to the ATP Finals next November.
