Messi accused of destroying Inter Miami

Former Leeds United defender Mateusz Klich has accused Lionel Messi and his father of ruining things at Inter Miami.

Messi has made a huge impact since joining Inter Miami in 2023.

Speaking to Foot Truck , the Polish defender frankly said: "I advise people not to go to Inter Miami as long as Messi is there. The team is a disaster now. Everyone is leaving, from the coach to the physiotherapists."

"In terms of organization, everything at Inter Miami is very bad. Messi's father practically runs the club. Everyone speaks Spanish, and nothing can be done without their consent. The club is also 45 to 50 minutes from downtown Miami," the former MLS star added.

Klich's claim that Messi's father, Jorge Messi, is manipulating the club has caused a lot of controversy. Many believe that several former Inter Miami players have revealed something about their dissatisfaction with the team's situation to Klich, leading to the Polish defender's comments.

Klich, 35, played for Leeds United from 2017 to 2023, making 195 appearances, including 82 in the Premier League under Marcelo Bielsa. After leaving Leeds, he moved to the US to play for DC United and Atlanta United.

In the 2024 season, Klich faced Messi and Inter Miami. These experiences and knowledge from his time playing in the US led Klich to fiercely attack Messi and Inter Miami.
