The North and South saw a sharp increase.

Today, February 12, 2025, the price of live pigs is witnessing a renewed surge in provinces and cities across both the North and South of Vietnam. Many localities have reached levels above 70,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

Today's live pig prices (February 12, 2025) in the northern region continued to increase in localities such as Lao Cai, Hung Yen , Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, and Phu Tho, all rising by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, live pig prices in this region are fluctuating between 70,000 and 72,000 VND/kg. Thus, the price of 69,000 VND/kg has disappeared from this area as Lao Cai and Nam Dinh both saw price increases this morning. Phu Tho and Bac Giang are the two localities with the highest live pig prices in the region at 72,000 VND/kg.

Central and Central Highlands region

Conversely, today's (February 12, 2025) live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions unexpectedly remained stable after two consecutive days of increases in various provinces and cities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region remains in the range of 68,000 – 72,000 VND/kg. Among them, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong have the highest live pig prices in the region at 72,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Along with the North, pork prices in the South today (February 12, 2025) continued to increase in provinces such as Binh Phuoc, An Giang, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, and Soc Trang, all rising by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, live pig prices in this region remain fluctuating between 70,000 and 73,000 VND/kg. Thus, the previous price of 69,000 VND in this area has disappeared as both Kien Giang and Vinh Long provinces simultaneously increased prices this morning. Conversely, Dong Nai province set a new record high, reaching the highest price nationwide at 73,000 VND/kg.

Overall, today's live pig prices (February 12, 2025) show a renewed upward trend in localities across both the North and South of Vietnam. Currently, live pig prices are trading in the range of 68,000 – 73,000 VND/kg.
